Dying light 2 has had very troubled development which makes me worry about it

FINALLY i sat down one day and was like "fuck this, im AT LEAST going to spend a FULL day fucking around with this game" and BOOM dude i fell in love. I got the hang of everything, got into the story, started doing a shitload of side quests, got the grapple thingy and got to the point where i was actually good at the game.
I spent sooo long trying to find every little thing and do every little side quest. I pretty much cleared the entire map of things to do.....
THEN I FOUND OUT YOU GO TO A WHOLE 'NOTHER CITY
I was sooo depressed lol. as soon as i opened the map i was like noooooooooo lol

High hopes for Horizon

Zero Dawn was a great game with the story being top notch so i hope they at least match the compelling story. the game play and graphics both look great with combat in the trailer looking smooth but yea the story is what im worried about how will you follow up HZD

ID: hro5a66Yes! You can definitely get in fresh. The base game is free, so its easy to try. If you like that, I would recommend finishing base game personal story then moving on to the two expansions we have so far- heart of thorns and path of fire.
If you ever find leveling tedious or boring, consider exploring the world (you get most exp that way), not doing heart quests. and you can also get levels in pvp.

ID: hromro2For sure, the core game is f2p so you can play up to max level on the 8 base classes, pvp, and get bis gear and run fractals and dungeons for free. You'll probably catch the xpacs on sale before you finish the base content. I would highly advise against buying the xpacs before you hit 80 on your first toon. The xpacs all come with a level boost and that cuts out a lot of learning / fun while leveling and experiencing the core world.
The game uses a "mastery" system for gliding and mounts that is account wide, so once you unlock gliding or a type of mount on one toon you unlock it on all toons. This can be troublesome if you play the xpacs out of order since having a griffon trivializes a lot of the HoT experience.
The one thing that will be difficult is getting access to all of the living world content, which will lock you out of some nice farming spots, the rollerbeatle mount, the skyscale mount, and some legendary items. Plus you miss out on a lot of connecting story lines between the xpacs. None of those are needed in any game mode.
ID: hroqcz1I started it in September and can’t put it down. They have a unique zone down-leveling mechanic so one person can’t obliterate everything in the starter zones. You rarely feel completely outclassed by level/gear
