Killed a guy who had a Tac-kek helmet with SLAAP armour on it.
I couldn't tell if he was really dumb or a genius. Works out to be like 82k-ish, but level 5 up top.

ID: gq86mqcI use it all the time. The top is by far the most important part. It's saved me vs 7n1, m855a1 AP 20, AP 6.3 and you get it back with insurance frequently.
It used to be cheaper could get it for under 60 but it's getting more popular.

I literally only wear helmets for cosmetics, if I’m doing something sweaty like labs I’ll just wear a rig and headset, maybe the kek helmet
ID: gq7natwI only wear helmets if I find them in raid. At this point in the wipe everybody runs super high pen ammo so helmets are borderline useless.

The tac-Kek has the highest ricochet chance in the game. Nofoodaftermidnight has an armor chart explain how it work.

ID: gq72gr8Helmets have a ricochet chance. They have a chance to bounce any bullet (And save you), regardless of the penetration power of the bullet. SSH-68 is a really good early game helmet for that reason, because it has a high ricochet chance.

Survived a headshot with the shattered facemask the other day and managed to kill the guy that shot at me. Only issue was I was so concussed I didn't realize I had killed him until after the raid.
ID: gq7d5mhYeah I was doing scrap metal on Shoreline and decided to hit some stashes along the way to rock passage. I randomly came across a lvl 49 bush wookie trying to exit camp rock passage and sprayed him down with 9x18 SP8. I didn't even know a round ricocheted until I looked at my health/gear after killing him.

I’ve bounced a 7n1 off a peen helm from 10 feet away once.
I whipped and instantly returned shots to his head. I’m sure he thought I was a hacker

Isn't richochet chance the same no matter the helmet or bullet? Per say both the TacTek lvl 1 helmet and the TC2001 have the same high chance of richocheting a bullet, right? Or does durability, as well as armor class and ammo pen chance influence this factor?
