I am going to be busy in a couple of weeks, and my Game Pass is about to expire. So I thought I would experience one more class (so far I was a Pyro) instead of finishing the game. Which do you recommend ?
and one more question : My max wt is 7 for a very long time, and I have been getting underlevelled gear. Is it supposed to be like that ?

I've played with Dev, Trickster and Techno. Pyro not yet. Really is a matter of personal preference..
Devastator is nice if you like close combat, in the face of yr enemy, with a proper build you don't die easily even when not completely focused. Play that when I just want to smash some things with no worries.
Trickster is shotgun blasting fast game play, you're everywhere with Hunt the Prey. Keep moving or you're dead. Took me little longer to master it, but I'm old and slow ;-). Really love it now though. Not playing Trickster when I'm little tired.
Techno is more mid/long ranged. Like the FP build with borealis set. Have a blast playing it. Found it easiest to gradually making a good build with it, Endgame high damage. My aiming sucks, that van be a disadvantage.

Personally for me it's techno, top tree, with a dabble down in the middle, I'm on console soy aiming isn't great so I use lmg, but I can solo some ct15s now without ever reloading.

Devastator no doubt. But Trickster comes close just due to hunt the prey skill that lets you teleport throughout the battlefield.
In Devastator's case, an AP-bleed build is virtually immortal and combining it with Tremor+Earthquake+Gravity Leap makes the game so fun. They are the best skills to use.
ID: hv44knyTremor is not that good in an AP-bleed build. You could try swap it for reflect Bullets, and use the node you get 40% AP bonus when ref Bullets is triggered (start -> stop, bonus all time)
ID: hv44tdhI use it because its fun... not going full on optimized build, but rather a fun one. And tremor is pretty OP in sense that it flinches the enemies and saves your life.
Also, my main way of causing enemies bleed damage is critical shots and Gravity Leap.

Oh, you're that far into the story and only WT7? You must have not been doing sidequests or maybe not playing on highest WT all the way. I've done story 4 times and usually was WT14-15 at this point.
But the "which class is most fun" question is very relative. Would you really play something just because someone else likes it? You're asking as if there is an absolute answer here when it's only an opinion and a matter of preference. Different from player to player.
We don't know how you like to play, so just pick one that looks cool for you and play it, mate.

Definitely AP Devastator, Earthquake / Gravity Leap / Golem, or Reflect Bullets instead of Golem just to trigger Paladin if you don't have issues with survivability. Focus Anomaly Power and Skill Cooldown on all your armour pieces and then get weapons that trigger effects which scale off AP.

I've only played techno to max, but I had a ton of fun freezing everything and watching everything shatter at once.
I have a mid level trickster and I love teleporting around and 'Omae wa shinderu'ing the enemies.

Trickster.
Hunt the Prey to teleport behind them, then Temporal Blade, and turn round and walk away from them because cool guys don't look at the explosions they cause.

Oh this is tough for me its AP bleed devastator, but all the classes are fun in their own ways. If you like to freeze enemies for a while do techno, pyro can be similar if u do ash blasting. Trickster is fun in the face teleporting everywhere.

I've only played Trickster but the fact that I have almost zero motivation to play with any other class, despite seeing what they can do, is proof enough of how awesome Trickster is for me. I have a middle tree focused build that gives me the tankiness of a Devastator but also still have access to the flashy, time-space bending skills of a Trickster.

Maybe that’s why it is the only class I can’t get a build to consistently succeed with. I’m always playing later after my kids are down and I’m wiped out hahaha.
