Just had the best raid of my life (so far) - finished Punisher Pt 6, got my reshala kill (he had the golden TT!) and got my "head shot with tremor quest"
For my second wipe getting all three of these done in one raid was a complete rush. Thanks for reading. Back to getting my teeth kicked in.

Is it still worth trying to learn Loothouse? New player, first wipe, feel like I could probably learn some loot route but would get domed by experienced players or all the player scavs beelining to the same areas
ID: hus9609ID: huvit9oIt's the fastest way to make roubles even if you're bad at pvp. I'd say if you go chalet you should expect to have to win a fight to get out, but you can still stash a lot of valuable stuff in your gamma so you don't have to win a fight to make a profit. Other routes are contested much less often. Either way though as long as you're running a budget kit with a big backpack you will make bank over the long run even if you die sometimes.

I killed a PMC that had every armored carrier and backpack slot filled with MP153x5 ammo tubes. Every slot. Think he accidentally brought it in raid, or is that a tactic to keep someone from taking his vest and bag?

Creep walking still makes very audible noises when it shouldnt.
ID: hv4tzyzIt depends on what you’re walking on, your weight, and what level your covert movement is. But really though, the sound in this game is so messed up you might just be getting a sound bug. I know currently being overweight makes your footsteps audible to people that should be too far away to hear you.

Why is there always someone there to kill me at the USEC Camp on Woods??? I'm just trying to beat this very beginner level quest....
ID: hv37932That area's a hot spot especially early in raid. There's multiple PMC spawns near it and it has decent loot. I'd loop away from it for the first ten or so minutes then poke on over there.
ID: hv43dlfJust jumping on here. Last night I saw 3 PMCs go to it within 5/6 minutes of Raid start. So thats 4 of us who spawned basically next to it. Me being a rat, I hid in a bush and waited until they all killed each other or walked off before continuing on my way.
So I would say definitely stay away for a good ten minutes or so before going there for that early quest

I turned off binaural audio and now I can hear distant, faint gunfire in the distance, now. Direction is not as easy to determine, however. But no more weird drum ratchet noises or strange popping can sounds.

Anyone else find the FPS drop on zoom scopes to be borderline unplayable? My game runs around 55-60 FPS typically but when I ADS with any scope besides a reflex sight I lose about 15-20 FPS. It honestly turns me away from any long range encounters.

So can someone explain Delivery from the past in detail for me, as I have read and (tried) to follow guides.
I picked up the case at custom and survived, seeing the quest item in my quest item thing.
I went to factory to stash the case, but died twice before I could even leave my spawn. On my third attempt I legged it and got to the stashing location, but I had no trigger to stash it, and when I look at my tasks, I no longer have the item on me. In fact, the item is gone and my task is reset.
Do I really need to pick up the item, survive customs, and stash it in factory without dying in between? I thought the most important part was to not die WHILE stashing it.
ID: huuua1myes, you cannot die with the item in your quest inventory. if you die on customs while getting it, youll have to get it again. if you die in factory while stashing it, youll have to get it again.
screen, them move the quest item from your personal inventory (on your Player) to your stash inventory. that way you can do other raids before going to factory if you want, just make sure to move it back before you go back into factory.
however, if you want to do raids in between, you can go to your tasks page on the characteWhat me and my friends usually do is go on factory with cheap body armor and the lvl 3 bucket helmet at Night with a pistol that has a flashlight, then absolutly leg it. taking out any scavs that are too much of a threat on the way.

Yes, it's an actual item you lose on death.
You don't have to do the Factory part right away, you can take the quest item out of your active inventory and stash it.
Additionally, you can get more than one. You can loot the item as long as you have the quest, and loot 2-3 and stash them for repeated attempts.

Performance on lighthouse is so bad I have all these quests that suck trying to do when my frames drop so often that if it happens in a firefight I’m fucked.

Extracted and my backpack was gone...i was just openning that grenade case at road to customs on shoreline as i extracted. Is this a bug?

Hello friends and future (ingame) enemies. Recently Tarkov came up on my radar again. I never played it, so far I do not own a copy of it (yet). The difficulty kept me at a distance but I am finaly ready to dive in head on. I like dificult games and I am not a rage quit kind of guy. I don't mind losing items or progress ingame so I think I am good. Now the problem is I don't have a lot of money and when looking at the deals the biggest package (edge of darkness) is what I am surely going to go for. Some of you might say that is not smart because there is always a chance I will not find the gem in the game some of you do. But that's a risk i am willing to take. BUT I will wait for a discount. Sadly I missed the new years discount. I started my tarkov exploration litteraly 2 days after it ended.....
So my question: does anybody here know when another discount is planned/upcomming?

How do you trade 10 or 20 with mechanic for weapon case/ thicc case if you can't hold more than 3?
ID: huzhbwxYou can have as many in your inventory as you want. You bitcoin farm however can only hold three so you need to extract them before it gets full or it won't produce more.

ID: hv35o4yHave you ensured its FIR. That might be the problem. Look for the little check mark in the item box while in your stash. This check mark will also be yellow if it's a quest item.

Just got my first bitcoin on my first time using the RB-BK key. A player arrived as I was looting and let me leave in peace because it was my first time. That was really sweet even though it was already in my pouch and safe anyway. Shoutout to that dude, he scared the shit out of me haha

Anyone has a problem with scavs too? I have about 600 hours and recently these scavs got so much op that it's bullsh*t. Shooting from such a far away that i can't even see them, shooting through grass and bushes and they are so, so accurate. Am i just getting bad or did they buffed them?
ID: hv1kh0yI'm convinced there's more than just health variables for Scav spawns. I.E. They can spawn with higher accuracy, reaction time, perception, etc.
I think what happens is on occasion you just draw the "Scav Wick" lottery and you end up with one that's on the peak of all stats. Twice now I've had 2-3 of our 5 man squad get rapidly head shotted from a regular ass scav in relatively random area. One of them was a regular scav near skeletor with a TT pistol. dropped the first and we expected a cracked PMC or at least sniper. Death screen showed reg scav name with TT ammo. 2nd guy moves that way to see whats up/kill the scav cause "pistol really?"...domed through a gap in the wall. He tapped the 3rd as the others ran away. 3 shots, 3 deaths, on 3 moving/helmeted PMCs with a TT pistol.
Then a game later you melt 10 of them with a SHRMP.

The 3-24x scope should be removed from the game until it is actually fixed so that it has multiple zoom levels.

Anyone been getting one tapped in the stomach by the turrets on lighthouse lately? Just doesn't make sense to me, but this is the second time it's happened so far. Death recap says I took one 12.7x108mm B-32 shot to the stomach, but if I understand the way damage spread works correctly, that shouldn't be killing me at all. No indication of a fragmentation either. Hell, even if the bullet did fragment, I'd still be living with just over 1 HP on my head anyways.
Is this happening to anyone else or am I just crazy? Turrets seem to be bugged somehow unless I'm misinterpreting the damage system here.

Currently at 6.7 Scav Karma. While I haven't killed a player scav yet, I do know that up to 6, it's a -.1 penalty if I do kill one. But I've heard conflicting amounts of penalties now that I'm past 6. What is the penalty now?
Mainly asking since, there's two runs in a row where where there were a mix of PMCs and Scavs fighting where I wanted to help out my scav brothers, but hesitated for a split second and died to a PMC. Wondering if I should just stay clear to avoid any potential major penalties since I've heard that it may be as detrimental as -2.5?

Can we get some sort of optional sensitivity sliders for individual scopes, or a simple slider for each zoom level starting from 1x ? Being able to chose your own sensitivity for an optic is a pretty basic quality of life feature in most fps games.
Some of the scopes in Tarkov inevitably feel either way too slow or too fast. Because there is only a single ads sens slider you can't fine tune the sens to your preference.

I keep losing scavs to the loading screen. I've l;earned that if my scav is taking more than 5:30 minutes, I should just alt F4. it's getting ridiculous.

ID: huw7zfoYou usually see a scav before they kill you. Rogues you just fade to black....
Their ai is a bit different. Rogues are only on lighthouse at the water plant.

I guess my question is: how do you know when to run vs when to be quiet?
Watching Pestily, he always seems to just full on speed run, get the loot, know when a player is nearby and still manage to get the drop on them. Playing the game for the first time, I did absolutely nothing but crouch walk everywhere. With a bit more experience, I tried being generally more dynamic in my approach, but it never really seemed to pay off in the same way. Sometimes I got ambushed, sometimes I landed in a fight without as much information as I would have had beforehand if I had slowed down a bit.
Again, watching Pestily, it just seems like he has the confidence to throw himself across large open fields and roads in places like woods or shoreline without first doing like a minute of surveillance.
