Those are certainly PS5 games

I actually liked Deathloop quite a bit. The story was enjoyable and it was a blast putting the pieces together and forming the plan for the perfect run.
ID: hw9dsv0Yeah man I wanna play it also. some people were talking shit on it but the dishonored series is probably one of my favorites and this looks very similar
ID: hw9roavIMO it’s a very mediocre game at its best. It certainly has some good parts but after a while it starts to get boring and very repetitive. It also has some annoying bugs that freezes the PlayStation and you need to redo the mission all over again. If you like dishonoured it’s definitely worth a try though

Whilst you can definitely have fun with Deathloop and it seems the majority were receptive to it, the game just didn’t grab me in the same way as Dishonoured.
Resident Evil Village.. I wasn’t keen how there seemed to be a lack of focus on horror, with more focus on action… but I really did enjoy my time with it even though I think 7 was the better game
Far Cry 6.. yes, it’s pretty much the same game you’ve come to expect since Far Cry 3, but the world itself was the best and most believable in the franchise < HUD off, playing stealth and not relying on the silly stuff (like the backpack and the animal companions) really elevated my enjoyment with it. I’d honestly put this as the 3rd best Far Cry game behind 3 and 4.
ID: hw8jqs7Deathloop just isn't Dishonored. It's designed much more like an action FPS. If you are good enough, you can even play it like Doom lol. Online PvP can be super fun too, when against a good player.
ID: hw8qh28...Chorizo was awesome.
ID: hw8qtk1To be honest.. it’d be very hard for me to argue with that!
ID: hw8fyb0I agree, that gimmicky overpowered backpack seriously dulled down the phone for me too in FC6. I haven't played it for months but playing it like you said with the HUD off and still not using the backpack may be another level of fun!
ID: hw8csy3I’ve been holding off on seeing too much from re:village - is it really not as horror oriented?
ID: hw8dimcThere’s 1 section close to the middle/end which definitely feels more like a horror game, similar to RE7.. but with having an abundance of weapons, ammo etc.. and the ability to defend yourself far better than in the last game, it’s more akin to RE4 I suppose. You can absolutely have fun with it though.

Village is amazing!
-
Solid games, i’ve played them all.
I’d rank them in this order personally:
Deathloop > Village > Far Cry
ID: hw8vamzSame here and I agree with your rankings. Deathloop is one of the most innovative games I have played recently. RE8 was fun as hell and a great follow up to RE7. Far Cry is ok with lots to do but mind numbing at times.
ID: hw983y5What made deathloop innovative, in your opinion? Personally, I found it to be the worst of their games I've played so far. Omitting great mechanics and features, the AI being possibly the worst for a major release I've seen in multiple generations, and the way it holds your hand all the way to the very end left me feeling disappointed in this entry. I try to at least work for the platinum in most games, unless they have ridiculous trophies. I found myself immediately shelving this after the credits, though. Hope this doesn't come across as me downing your opinion. Really just curious to see what parts people enjoyed
-
I loved re8 but idk about the other two
-
Deathloop is really good! I hope that they do some dlc or something in the future
-
Haven't played FC6 ot timeloop but I started village this past weekend and I'm having a blast
-
Resident evil village is literally fucking awesome
-
I enjoyed Village a lot. Was very tired of Far Cry 6 by the end credits. Played Deathloop a couple of hours so not sure about it yet
-
Just started play Far Cry this week. It’s been a ton of fun!
-
Far Cry is great. You'll enjoy it.
-
I'm not sure abt deathloop but I've been wanting farcry and resident evil
-
I had a lot of fun with farcry. I did a bit of the side missions but still had quite a bit to go when I finished the main story. I just got dying light 2 and have horizon coming next week, so it will probably be months before I get back to far cry. A coworker just got deathloop and returnal and said those were really good. It’s been years since I’ve play any RE but I heard village was good.
-
I’m gonna play village when I’m comfortable with the price and probably deathloop sometime in the future

I enjoy every stupid repetitive Far Cry. I can’t help it.
Deathloop seems like a hard pass.
Village ? Idk I would rather play the last one bit in VR this time.
-
Village 1st, Deathloop 2nd. Far Cry is the same as all the other ones, but with a new number.
-
Enjoy! I completed both Deathloop and Village recently and really liked them(specially Deathloop cause Arkane) but haven’t gotten around Far Cry 6, been too busy with other games
-
Mostly good games. FC6 was okay though. Not terrible but not very memorable.
-
Deathloop was such a great game. Something very different than the usual fps. far cry 6 was a decent game. Wasn’t bad, wasn’t great. Haven’t played village but I hear nothing but great things
-
Stick with deathloop will take a while to get your head round it. Once you do brilliant game
-
I want to play Deathloop, I need to play Village again. I beat it in the Series S but I want to see how it holds up on the PS5.
-
I really enjoyed far cry. Sunk 80hrs into it fairly quickly... not played the other 2 though. Not yet anyways fiending on doom eternal atm its crazy
-
I'm about 6 hours in on DeathLoop so far and completely side-tracked...
It has a story with specific missions to progress the story, but it also has side missions for finding out more info and/or gaining more powers. That's where I'm at, as once you get a power, to upgrade it you have to re-do the scenario and pick it up again, but you'll have better weapons and abilities, which opens up different ways to do it.
Oh, and Julianna will keep you on your toes...
If you liked Dishonoured with its "your choice - chaotic and loud or slow and quiet" options, you'll enjoy DeathLoop.
-
I don't have village but the other 2 were a lot of fun
-
I played deathloop and it is very good.
-
I picked up Far Cry for like 20 on an Amazon sale. Don’t know what everyone was whining about. It’s a solid fun game to play if you want mindless action and shooting.
-
One out of those three I would actually play, and it ain't the first two.
ID: hw880xsWhich one has the voluptuous vampire? I forget.
-
VILLAGE!! Start there TRUST ME!!
-
Three AAA games. I have Deathloop and Resident Evil Village on my gaming laptop.
-
In the words of the late, great Meatloaf: “2 outta 3 Ain’t Bad”
-
first 2 games are great the first time around , Village is always great all time around
-
Idk about Deathloop but Far Cry 6 and Village are amazing games, especially Village.
-
If you liked Resident evil 7 you will love village . I played resident evil 7 with the PlayStation plus collection and fell in love with it . I am about 75% done with village currently and am in love with it . I do feel like village is a lot more action focused than horror focused, 7 overall is scarier than 8 but 8 has some terrifying moments that scared the shit out of me …. Do not want to spoil anything
-
Deathloop is amazing! Hope you enjoy as much as I did 🙂 was my GOTY. I haven’t opened village yet and Far cry is very much copy and paste from other far cry games.
-
Deathloop is awesome, enjoy!
