99999 damage overdrive | Reddit game thread βtest

1 ： Anonymous：2021/03/06 21:44 ID: lzbwrt: Hello I currently have all stats maxed except HP and luck. All celestial weapons fully upgraded and always hit 99999 when I simply attack. While using Tidus and Wakka overdrive I can only hit 30k per hit with slice and dice (usually 2.6 on timer) and 48k per hit with attack reels (getting 2 hit for all 3). Can anyone help me get max overdrive hits? Currently farming earth eater and getting tired of watching flare after flare. TIA

The quickest way to beat it is to use Loner overdrive and either Tidus or Wakka.

Take 1:35 per battle with Tidus, and only 1:05ish with Wakka.

Thanks! Wasn't sure if I was missing something or if I needed to find the weapons with multiple strength boosts.
3 ： Anonymous：2021/03/06 22:05 ID: gq0y1vw: IIRC this is due to the damage constant that overdrives have, they will always output lower than max damage. Even when stats are maxed and with ultimate weapons

I have 255 Str and around 60 luck.
