ID: hx8nr1aYeah. These aren't sales prices anymore at this point. These are the regular prices with how often sales occur. It's a scummy tactic. Keep regular price high so we can sell them at their real regular price during sales and make people think they're saving money.
These fake sales are just a way to stimulate consumers.

Don't know why I bothered to look. I know I'll be playing Forbidden West for the forseeable future, and every time I get a cheap sale game and say "I'll play that later" it sits in my backlog for years.

ID: hx8h8onDamn yeah that happens to me too. I get one that I just buy because it's $15 and I never got around to the game at launch. Then I never play it until one day I look at my backlog and it's over 250 games (including ps+) and I decide I need to at least try some of these
ID: hx8ich4PS+ has inflated my backlog to ridiculous sizes, but at least those are "free".
A couple years ago I really started trying to avoid buying any games unless I'd play them right away, too many just sat unplayed for years. Besides that, there is also a chance they come to PS_ down the road.

Looking at Yakuza like a dragon and little nightmares 2. Worth it?

ID: hx8hi8aLike a Dragon is absolutely fantastic. I was already a fan of this series, but this game blew the rest out of the water. It's just such a genuinely fun time. That was the most important part to me-- I don't remember the last time a game was that good of a time. Not just good, but fun.
ID: hx8ghynLike a Dragon is one of the best games I've played in recent memory. I'm not even a Yakuza fan; just picked it up on a whim when it was on sale. Highly recommend it.

ID: hx870i5It's ok if you like those kinds games. If it's not a genre you play often you'd probably enjoy it much more. As crpgs go it's fairly straightforward and basic.

ID: hx8m8m1I got it a few weeks ago on sale thinking the trailers and stuff looked pretty cool but once I started playing it I lost interest completely. Don’t think I’ll get back to it again.
ID: hx8o14nIt was still very buggy last I played, companions will disappear and never return for the remainder of the game and every few play sessions you will have to hard reset because of some game breaking bugs plus still no 60fps patch for current gen and a lot of weird/bad little game design rescissions that makes playing more frustrating than it should be. It has potential but could be so much better if the developer actually cared fixing it on consoles.

The timing sucks tough - Horizon just launched, Elden Ring is 9 days away, and a bunch of stuff is coming in the next few months... I want to start Cyberpunk rn, but I know when ER comes out I'm going to be all over it for at least 3 playthroughs and I don't want to have to drop a game mid-playthrough. I am excited for Cyberpunk on ps5, but it's pretty far down my list this season.

Honestly coming from steam these sales are pathetic, especially with exchange rate. Like 20 dollar game in my currency is almost 40 dollars...
ID: hx8klamSteam has decent sales and general prices for games because of piracy. PlayStation doesn’t have that issue, hence high prices and shit sales.
