I wouldn't worry about it. Mine does it all the time but it doesn't affect in game for me. If you aren't noticing any slowdowns and it's blinking then u should be good. Don't worry aboutt what the xim is doing just play and feel the game. Ull feel the slow turn. If u don't feel it then ur good. 🙂

The flashing red lights mean that you're moving your mouse faster than whatever game you're playing allows you to turn.

Look up tutorials on youtube on how to adjust your settings correctly. The Xim creators have a bunch of helpful tutorials.

Your moving faster than the controller allows. Lower your sensitivity on the XIM or slow down.

Doing this to much can cause it to stutter as it stops working while flashing.
