Picked mine up today at EB Games In Vancouver (Cambie). They called me about 12 days after putting my name on the waiting list when I was told it would be a 2 month wait, apparently 40/50% of people on the waiting list don’t answer their phone so they keep moving on down the list.
Very surprised to say the least!

I think I put mine down at the same place 2 weeks ago as well but haven’t heard back from them. Hopefully get a call soon if the turn around was that quick!

I tried to get on the waiting list here and was told it's full and they aren't adding anymore to it.

Just phoned 8 local stores within 80km of my location. Only one store (my local one actually) allowed me to put my name down. I was number 423.

I phoned my local EBGames two weeks ago and got a PS5 the same day. You have to phone every morning before they open. They open at 10 but take cals before opening I got it on my first try. I but a lottery ticket that same day but this one did not come thru.

2 people from my work got their names on the list were called within 48hrs. Eb games in barrie Ontario. This was just last week.

Yeah this is turning into one of the best ways to secure one. I know several people who've gotten one off waiting lists in less than a week. It helps to choose locations outside your city though. I'm on the Oshawa waiting list now and I live in Toronto.

There’s a decent amount of stock there apparently so you might hear something them in the next few days. Was also told that people should be able to start buying them off the shelves as normal by end of April / start of May.
