- Gotham Knights delayed to 2022
-
Between Covid and everyone in the industry watching CP2077 face plant like a jackass I’m not surprised at the delay. Would be nice to get a finished game for once.

It's insane how people's general reactions to a game being delayed went from "fuck this piece of shit company" to "they should take as much time as they need" just because of one game (cyberpunk).
ID: grix766I feel like this trend started before Cyberpunk, but it’s definitely one of the biggest examples.
ID: grk54teCyberpunk was the straw that broke the camels back.
ID: grj8qixPeople were actually super supportive when Cyberpunk got first delayed. It's just that you should never delay more than once. They delayed like what.. three times? And still delivered utter mess. That's actually bananas. Don't even want to imagine how unfinished the product must have been half a year before release.
ID: grjc0qcYeah, Cyberpunk got an avalanche of love and support in response to their delay... the first time.
ID: grkqwo9Like you said, the first delay should of been indefinite like dying light 2 and shud of released in 2021.
ID: grjo0laIt's not just cyberpunk. It's been a thing for many years
ID: grk0sxpYup. Seems like most people here are too young to remember Brink. That games terrible reception broke the internet lol.
ID: grkhmneIt’s definitely not because of Cyberpunk. People that aren’t entitled and actually think about the long term instead of “I want it now” have always encouraged sensible delays. The Fighting Game Community is a big example of this. Cyberpunk definitely didn’t start any trend.
ID: grjo1z8I feel like it started because we saw what happened with breath of the wild, and how it taking its time made it one of the greatest games I’ve ever played.
ID: grlhq1bFor me it hasn’t been just one game. Cyberpunk just carried the most weight.

Tons of games and overall content updates are going to be delayed this year.
Bungie with Witch Queen, Avengers devs mentioned it's taking them 3-5x longer than normal to make content, WB with Harry Potter, GT7, etc.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Horizon pushed out to 2022 as well
ID: grhsxmoSony is still pushing Horizon for 2021, especially with HZD being free next month. I'd suspect they initially were targeting early 2021 but now it's looking like Q4.
ID: grht6nlYeah that's what I'm assuming, but again I wouldn't be surprised if it did end up getting pushed to 2022
ID: grhsdczI think ragnarok's getting pushed out of 2021 but will still manage to get horizon
ID: grhxvo0I'm honestly not sure God of War was ever supposed to release in 2021..
Edit : Jason Schreier just tweeted "Lol" to someone asking him if God of War would release this year (

If that happens, what’s gonna be the PS5 exclusive to get this year? People are banking on Horizon since Xbox has halo infinite
Ratchet and clank!
Should indeed be Horizon.
Witch Queen was delayed because Beyond Light was delayed. They made it seem like it was even something that they had been wanting to do for a while anyways. Beyond Light being delayed showed it could work and they made it official with Witch Queen.
Hey, take as much time as you need. As long as it doesn’t end up like Cuberpunk 2077.
We are overdue for a Batman game though! And I am truly looking forward to this!
A Batman Game without Batman 😉
Yes, I too am sure this game will definitely not feature Batman as a surprise twist...
It gives them a chance to try something new in the same universe. I'd wouldn't be surprised if he was dlc later though for a classic experience.
We're overdue for more DC games in general.
Good to hear. Arkham trilogy is wanna of my all time favs and was really hype about this. Tbh after watching some gameplay I thought the combat was starting to look a little too spongey. I’m hoping for a nice balance with the classic Arkham combat and it having more fluidity...
Maybe it’s just me but I see zero of the Arkham combat in this game.
It’s not just you and that’s my point. It seems like spam cool downs on spongie baddies and I’d rather it have more Arkham combat in it...
yeah they even said it's not taking place in the same world as the arkham games
In the mean time can we get Arkham origins remastered for PS4/ps5 please wb Montreal
Take your time, child.
Take that live service trash!! and shovelled it right back up your bum bum!,
I think it is safe to say that there is a minority of people who actually care that this game is delayed. I forgot this game was even coming out. Says a lot about how trash the concept is. I’m sure the business model will attract a lot of criticism.
This will make it 9 years since these guys have put out a game
They should have delayed the PS5 to 2022 tbh.
Ain’t that the truth. I’ve said that from the beginning.
Calling it now, this will be the next Avengers.
SUCH a shame.
yeah this has "disappointing bullshit" written all over it. I mean the entire idea started with a meeting where somebody said "you know what people who buy batman games don't want in their games? Batman." And everybody else in the room agreed and thought that sounded like a multi-million dollar idea.
Aw shhhit... But might be a good decision
I called this. Just assume every AAA game is going to get delayed
I fully expect HFW and GoWR will get delays as well.
I agree Gow will probably be delayed becuase of how little they have shown, they haven't even announced the name of the game yet. However I think HFW will be released this year probably around christmas to get that holiday money especially as they are giving HZD away for free to build more hype.
GoW didn’t show anything with their reveal, but HFW actually didn’t either. None of it was in-game footage, it was all CGI.
Both games could very well be at the same stage of production, and both could be delayed to 2022.
This is one of the games I had sincere hopes would release this year. 2021 is going to be rough.
At least it gives them more time to fix bugs and make the game more stable on release, wise decision.
Perhaps even make it even bette
gen and PC exclusive in they year 2022 when most can hopefully get their hands on next gen hardware lol引用元:https://www.reddit.com/r/PS5/comments/m8kh1o/gotham_knights_delayed_to_2022/
God Of War & LoZ BOTW would like a word.
