Wow. What a bunch of dickheads in this thread. Frogwares has been making these games for almost 20 years. They have an audience, and they are always very well written and enjoyable for what they are. They're also a small studio of around 75 people, so tone down the hate a few notches.

This is an extremely subjective statement. And going by the general consensus many of their games have mixed reception.

Hades, one of the best games of last year, was made by 20 people, so I'm not sure why this is an excuse.
Anyway, people are allowed to criticize things if they don't like what they see. Doesn't mean they're being 'dickheads'. You're just being a fanboy.

Going third-person and adding weird action sequences made that game so frustrating to play. This trailer does not make me optimistic for Chapter 1, considering that there are straight up shootouts in it lol. Looks very pretty but still...

Can someone explain to me why a Sherlock Holmes game needs combat?
(That's a rhetorical question, it's because they think that'll make the game more appealing to a wider audience but clearly didn't bother hiring anyone with any experience as a combat designer.)

How the hell do you have frame drops in a trailer? Like seriously set the frame rate to half, slow down the CPU timer and then replay the video at double speed.
