Any updates on the Metro Exodus PS5 upgrade

Back in February it was announced that Metro Exodus would be receiving a next gen upgrade for both consoles and PC, with the PC releasing in Spring and the console version releasing “later this year.” Has there been any update on the progress of this launch since?

Really hope we get one because the absolutely abysmal performance on the base PS4 is what kept me from platting it even though I did the first two.

I remember something about later this spring, I think. I hope it’s soon, cause I never finished exodus when I started it on my base ps4, and would love to see it in 4K 60 with ray tracing.

4k60 with rt sounds insane. i know they said it, but its hard to believe. im excited for the digital foundry analyses

I’m sure the dynamic 4K is the key thing there. I don’t think either the series X or PS5 could handle a stable 60fps and ray tracing at a native 4K. But considering the only 60fps games we have with ray tracing is the two Spider-Man games where insomniac had to lower the resolution to 1080p, I’m curious what 4A is doing to get it to work.

Really looking forward to this update too. Bought it when I had my Pro and while I played the first few missions the loading times were some of, if not the worst, I’d ever seen. I’m eager to clear it from the backlog but not touching it until this update.

I just hope they fix the damn input lag that's always in Metro games (and I played it on a PS4 Pro, and none of my other games acted like this one)

The 60fps will smooth that out. I just played Last Light on PC with a controller and it felt great.
