My brother said he got messaged by one of them telling him they were just drunk as f and messing around.

Factory has always been a great play ground for groups, especially when you go in 5 man and get the place to yourself once you kill the poor solo player.
Had so many laughs "I found some great loot here!" Bang "No, I found some great loot!" or night time raids with no NV or torches, so much fun whilst being strangely terrifying at the same time!
What makes it feel tragic now is virtually none of those people I used to EFT with, play anymore. The game literally drove them away.

It is sad, but it literally weeds out any “casual” gamer, whether that is their choice or the result of the free time they have due to their job, school etc.

I just came back from over a month long break and my first 3 raids were 4+ kills and 500k+ loot and im only level 13 (got the game in January). i play solo and just sneak around sniping or flanking groups indoors with grenades. It takes up all of a single night to get shit done, but i can leave and come back for days at a time without issues
If stealth isn't fun for you though then yeah i can see it getting boring, but i love it. In fact if anything I've started playing even slower by semi-permanently moving only in crouch at the lowest speed lol
ID: gtg2w2jThat’s me right now. I do really like the game and have a good time, but honestly can’t play enough to keep up with other players and just get rolled or can’t loot much. Don’t take it to seriously so that helps me play when I do.

I needed one more insomnia kill to get Kappa a few days ago. My four buddies and I went to Factory all geared out with KS23s, star rounds, and a bunch of zarya flash bangs. We flashed the crap out of a duo and I got my last kill with my red rebel. My buddy killed the other guy too with his RR. We celebrated by dancing around in the extract, shooting our guns in the air, throwing flashes, and chugged moonshine that we had brought in with us. It was hilarious and honestly one of my best gaming memories and achievements. 🙂

We literally did this the other day on factory. Thought it would be hilarious...
Instead I blinded my team mate, shot my other team mate in the stomach, and the two pmcs (who must have wondered wtf we were doing) just killed all of us while we ran around like headless chickens
