Estates is a complete shitstorm on drop i swear once i saw HALF the lobby land there. It is without a doubt the kings canyon of olympus

I don't know what it is about Olympus but I always have trouble picking a good drop in ranked. In King's Canyon it seemed much easier to find a decent spot where you could loot for a minute or two without someone being up your ass right away.

ID: gtinr9lThe inside is awesome. The surrounding area needs to not be a giant ring of Obi-wan Kenobi tier high ground positions.
I pretty much refuse to go inside the labs because trying to get out is suicide. Once you go in you just have to resign yourself to fighting team after team that pushes in. Unless you're lucky enough to have a wraith/octane combo and have her jump pad away while creating an escape portal, you're pretty much guaranteed to have 2 teams firing on you when you walk out the door at minimum.
It's a great spot, with terrible placement.

A message to all dumbass randoms who insist on landing on top of the south tunnel at turbine by the waterfall in RANKED - just don't. Stop. I will not land there with you so that two full squads can fight over loot meant for 2 people. Easily one of the worst place to land in Ranked. Also, stop giving up good positioning and high ground just to run down into PS5 and die because there are snipers on top of every high point.

You gotta scoot that up a little to include the south side of Power Grid. Because that place is a literal death trap. You kill one team and the whole lobby is on the way

I had one game where we landed in Estates and stayed there the whole game. Literally constantly fighting whole game. Ended up winning it too.

Estates is the worst because people think it's "out of the main area" but it's not. It is just as bad as labs, but with worse loot.

I have more fun at Falls and Labs then anywhere else on the map.
But damn Estates is a hell hole to drop on.

If it’s ring 1 and there’s crafting nearby, I will craft meds and for real just camp the storm and go around to a place that isn’t one of those fucking spots. Seriously, I hate just existing in like a third of Olympus.
