Its 2007, I'm a freshman in high school sitting in consumer economics, my friends and I are playing bowman on addictinggames when we should be checking our mock stock market game. Life was good.

This game almost got me killed. My stupid friend thought it would be fun to bust out his dad’s bow and launch arrows at me from across the yard because “hurrr durrr let’s play bow man!!”.

Let’s play bow man” swoosh thwack an arrow flies past and into the woods. I freaked out and he shot another. I grabbed my stuff and walked home. Thankfully he missed both shots.
ID: gtmtm88We used to do this when I was growing up as part of martial arts training. We'd use a low draw strength bow and arrows without a head on them. We'd practice catching or deflecting the arrows. In retrospect, still dangerous as hell but so was half the stuff we did lol

It’s because of this game!!! I never arched my shot. I would just figure out how far out I hard to shoot so it would be a “lazer.” I shoot my basketballs this way and when I play beer pong. No arch Straight fucking lazer.
