Astro feels INSANE on the controller. Are there any other games which are just made to experience on the ps5 controller? I heard Cold War has realistic triggers or something, but I'm not a COD fan at all and wouldnt give them a dime of my money. I heard resident evil 2 has vibrations whenever Mr. X walks which sounds pretty cool. Any suggestions would be great thanks.

If you like racing sims, WRC9 has amazing haptics and triggers. I decided to get it on sale, even though I am not so good at racing games, and I was blown away
You can feel the road surface and also when you shift gears.
ID: gu3qpmcID: gu3ur7rHow does WRC9 compare to say Dirt Rally 2.0 in regards to overall quality and gameplay? Dirt Rally 2.0 is one of my favourite rally games ever.

Miles Morales but u have to turn on dual sense features in settings.
-
Here to say WRC 9 has incredible haptics and use of the speaker in the controller. It’s game changing.

Destruction all stars

I’ve heard control is cool. Sackboy is like Astro as well
ID: gu2t5miI only need 4 more trophies for the Control platinum and tbh, the dualsense is pretty meh in the game. It's alright, nothing special and nowhere near as good as Astro's.
ID: gu2x08uWas my experience as well, nowhere close to Astrobot. Not sure why everyone keeps mentioning it
ID: gu314n2I hope games in the future use the controllers to their full potential, god of war, horizon taking advantage of those triggers has me so excited
ID: gu2ss5dI agree for Sackboy, there si some vibrations when you walk like Astro and the triggers are used as well, plus the game is great !
I didn't play Control on PS5 so I can't tell

Sackboy is definitely worth checking out.

Borderlands 3 is similar to cod in how it uses the triggers, but there’s a lot more types of weapons. My favorites are the trigger effects they use whenever you’re using a gun that has to charge up or one that’s basically a laser
-
Control is really cool. Each gun mode feels very unique
-
It's a hell of a lot more subtle than in Astros Playroom, but Control feels great with the DualSense.
-
Absolutely came here to say WRC 9
-
Oddworld soulstorm does a great job utilizing the dual sense. Also it’s free with ps plus so its a win win
-
I know it's not the best game, but Avengers actually does a pretty good job. The devs mentioned how they noticed people were commenting on how weak the adaptive triggers were in other games. So they cranked the intensity, and added an adjustment slider in the options. It's still not Astro-level, but it definitely feels unique for each Avenger.

No game comes close to how Astro feels, as Astro is essentially a demo for the controller so they obviously went all out. But Control is the best experience I’ve had so far with the haptics, it feels amazing
-
Not yet, i can imagine it to be heavily utilised in first party games going forward
-
Returnal is supposed to focus on it but it comes out at the end of the month.

About Call of Duty, mainly it's the triggers that are cool, and you (collective "you") can get a similar experience with Borderlands 3 which is often very cheap and has a free upgrade from PS4. Also Watch Dogs Legion has some trigger feedback. Call of Duty is a little cooler because heavy weapons have "heavier" pulls to go to iron sights, but again not worth full price. I have all 3 of these games and would say COD used at half price maybe, if you also like zombies mode, and Legion is unimpressive overall. Borderlands is worth the $10 USD it often sells for, if you like that kind of game. I loved Astro Bot and am also looking for another game. The rain and hail, oh my god, it was amazing.
ID: gu3r7h5Warframe also has trigger feedback and is completely free to play. From the little bit I tried out a while ago, I liked it better than the borderlands 3 stuff, even though I much prefer borderlands 3 as a game
-
I don't like the feel in CoD. Don't know if it's supposed to simulate how a real trigger feels but I don't play well online with that stuff turned on. I turn vibration to weak and completely turn off trigger feedback.

Think I’m also the only person who never got “blown away” by the Dual Sende and this game. After watching Digital Foundry and their playing of Astro the game/Dual Sense was what I was most looking forward to.
I love the way the controller feels but the HD rumble or whatever wasn’t that great at all.

Mostly this so far. Gran Turismo will be incredible too. Please don't buy Dirt 5 it's ass.
