ID: gx244xiID: gx2q8v9I think it will be a sleeper hit. One of the reasons would be the lack of pre-release hype, Most people will be pleasantly surprised by it. I prefer this type of marketing. Let the game speak for itself instead of hyping it up for years only for it to never meet people's expectations.
ID: gx2ltyrI noticed during the fights that everything in the background goes out of focus. Not sure about. Most games don't do that but maybe it's less noticeable while playing? I would probably turn it off if given the option.
Otherwise, it looks potentially awesome. It's suddenly on my radar.

Open World as this has become to equate to fetch quests and a lack of agency in games. RPG, as grinding for the sake of grinding to get past level gates = meh for me. Levels = Win is one of my least favorite mechanics.I have a lot of hope for this game, even if I don't like it, I really would love to see it blast off and being an absolute hit.

as mentioned in the video, i also loved the color palette and how vibrant it is. A lot of AAA games really love those muted or grayish tones to their worlds (maybe to make it more realistic). But I gravitate to these artistic takes more.
I am amazed how much there is in terms of gameplay variety. Different mounts, different mechs, different clothing options, different weapons, different ways to customize a gun, and based on the first trailer i saw-- different ways to customize your biomutant
I am not a fan of all the text and numbers on screen tho, theres just so much to look at and it borderlines overwhelming

Hopefully this game has that option too.

ID: gx1v1vfI played this games demo probably about 3 or so years ago at E3 and I can honestly tell you it has some of the smoothest fighting in a game I have ever played. I haven't been this excited for a game in a long time! It's like Ratchet and Clank meets LotR: Two Towers. Such great mechanics

Holy crap it looks gorgeous, and I didn’t realise it until now, but the look of it actually reminds me of Kung Fu Panda somehow, with the animal design and bright colour palette. I was also thinking it looked like a slower platinum game in its combat. Really looking forward to this

I even want a game where you don't even play as a humanoid, maybe a snake with guns mounted on it or something

Knowing nothing about this game, it reminds me of the graphics of Fortnite with the gameplay of monster hunter and borderlands.

I hope I can at least finish Returnal or Resi 8 by the time this releases. I told myself I'd play games and not have a big backlog starting with games I get after I got a PS5. Keep up with it, I said.

ID: gx1gpjpI used to feel bad about my backlog. I've since realized that it feels a lot better to just play what feels good in the moment.
When I was a kid, I had all the time to play, but my parents could only afford a new game for christmas or birthdays. I maybe saved up for another one by doing chores. So a ton of time but no games. Now, I have no time, but I thankfully have enough money to be able to afford a lot more games.
Letting myself play what I want to instead of feeling obligated to spend more time on a game that has lost some of it's appeal has reignited my enjoyment of gaming.

Backlogs are underrated anyway, cause occasionally you’ll run into times when there isn’t anything new you want to play, and especially sometimes there’s sort of community pressure to join in on what’s being played, but if you aren’t into it it’s just nice to pick something you’ve skipped earlier

It looks too good to be true, i hope it is one of those silent releases that become wildly popular after people realize it's good (hopefully it is). Looks like a really amazing sandbox to play on the couch in the dark and just forget about things. No massive story-telling, no dlcs or multiplayer or microtransactions, just walk smash kill explore repeat...
My only worry is potential gamebreaking bugs or other things hidden on purpose in the trailers...and also i really hope there's an option to disable DoF and especially motion blur cause whoever invented that latter one needs to rethink life entirely.
