Title says it all really. I am planning to try and get one soon and there is a game on sale that I want, and the sale ends in like a week.

Would I be able to buy the game off the website before I own the console so I don’t miss the sale?

If you have a PSN account then nothings stopping you. Just make sure you sign in to that account when you eventually get your hands on the console and you’re good to go

Correct. You’re legally buying ownership of a digital product that you can download and use as and when you want. When you eventually get a ps5 it will be always available for download, even years after purchase

Yes, ownership of the digital games is tied to the account. The console is just a tool into which you can log into to actually play the games.

Just do this now, turn on Two Factor Authentication. Do this now do not forget.

This one action that takes a minute or two could save you massive heartache in the future. It makes stealing/hacking your account a lot more difficult to do.

If you stay around the community you will see threads weekly with how an “intruder” stole their account, changed their password, and now a stranger has free reign on their account.

Depending on the timing(what day of the week, Holiday) you might go 2-3 days before anyone could help you to ATTEMPT to get it back.
