- Week 19 Mindfactory.de Total Gaming GPU Sales 2435 Units Nvidia 35.11% and Radeon 64.89%!

Out of curiosity were there any 3080s ?

6800XT 10 units... wtf
ID: gxejb6mID: gxemsm8And there were zero 3080 and 3090.
ID: gxf2b1wThat's because Nvidia is selling these dies directly to Chinese and SE Asian miners.
Thank fucking god AMD intentionally avoided improving mining performance with RDNA2.
ID: gxfxkb9If you do the math with a die calculator, AMD can get 2x as many 6700XT dies as 6900XT dies per wafer even though the 6900XT is only like 1.5x the size. Smaller die means better yields and that makes up the other +0.5. So I'd imagine they are close to equal in profit and they can serve more customers and get more mindshare by selling more 6700XT GPUs.

Last week, the sales of the 6700XT at Mindfactory was around 350 units, but they've been selling 600+ units per week pretty consistently for the past 7 weeks.
ID: gxeweybIs that availability or sales

Sales

To think I used to like MF...

Shitpere cards are basically vaporware. rDNA 2 is hard to get but it's actually available.
Looking forward to the steam statistics showing AMD dominating. As they should.
ID: gxf5rjyYou do realize it's the other way around, right? There isn't a single RDNA2 card listed on the HW survey, while every single Ampere card is listed.
ID: gxfhi5nBecause the 6700xt is relatively new, if these numbers are representative of production, and mining does not abate, it will be the next 1060.

Do Radeon cards sell better in Europe? I wonder if there are regional differences.
ID: gxfqol3The supply of them is actually... not horrible?
I can see the 6700 XT permanently in stock in Slovenia and mindfactory has a wide variety of cards available. It's more so nvidia cards are chronically unavailable - or absurldy more expensive compared to AMD cards (which are already overcharged - now THIS I blame straight on mining).
Not that it matters, I'm not paying 900 fucking euros for a card, but the stock is good because, sooner or later, prices will drop considering cards here are not selling out instantly and remain in stock for up to a few days now.

3060Ti are no where to be seen.. How odd !
ID: gxfgmyoNo need to cut down silicon due to demand

Yields, there is no use selling 6800xt and 6800 if the yields are so good. The market is literally just the top binned GPUs now for AMD.
