- Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance re-release not showing on PS5 store yet. You can purchase and install remotely from the web store link here.
Great game, but not $40 CAD great. Half the price of a new AAA release is a bit much. Correction, a lot much.ID: gxer6nfID: gxevjzv
That’s my thought as well. I’d sooner wait for the new game and pay another $20 than buy the old game which beyond a resolution and FPS bump has not seen improvement. The price doesn’t make sense for what it is.ID: gxf922p
You must not have seen the price of this game second hand recently, $30 is slightly above average and considering it will be playable potentially forever on Xbox platforms and at least 10+ years on PlayStation you may not be willing to pay for it and there's nothing wrong with that but I'd hardly say its over priced.ID: gxfb1gb
It's grossly overpriced for what it is, what it sells for "second hand" on retro consoles (Feels weird saying those are now retro consoles) doesn't matter. The game lasts for 8 - 12 hours of gameplay, MAYBE 20+ for a completionist.
The only changes:Upscaled to 4K FPS increased
In no universe is a price of $30 reasonable for a game that old and without further improvements.
Loved this game, and I can wait to play it. $30 is too much for a port that does this little. I’ll bite at $15.
Thank you never played but looks fun.
shows on the ps app for me
I never played Dark Alliance. Would you guys recommend it as a single player experience?ID: gxe8z4g
IMO this game is to action RPGs as Resident Evil 2 was to survival horror. Just know you’re playing something that came out in 2001 and set graphical expectations accordingly. That aside, it has a rich cast of enemies and locations, and the combat feels very weighty. I played this a couple years ago with a friend on GameCube and was actually surprised how well it held up. Expect to get around 8-10hrs of gameplay depending on your speed.ID: gxearqp
Thank you! I appreciate the honest answer. I’ll go and check out a couple of videos. Can’t wait for Baldur’s Gate 3.ID: gxegi7d
Honestly probably not. I enjoyed the game when I was younger but there’s not much special about it. It’s a fun co-op play through though.
Is this a native PS5 game or a PS4 game running on BC mode?ID: gxf0hf6
$30 is a bit steep for ps2 graphics. It's 60fps though.
I never played this and realize this isn’t a story driven game, but does it tie into the pc games at all lore wise?
...and claim PS+/Play at Home freebie titles and even start downloads straight to PS5 from it (when in rest mode).
No online multiplayer, unfortunately. Hopefully that comes in a future update.ID: gxetq3b
You can gameshare play and coop online with ps plus
Even if it had been BGDAII, I wouldn’t pay that.
Even in the US, $30 for a 20-year-old game is too much. I'd love to play this one, but I'm holding off until it goes on sale for a deep discount.
