You CAN NOT farm specific legendaries through expeditions. All these different channels saying that you can are lying to get views and subs and twitch viewers. It's a despicable business practice and I honestly don't know how these people can sleep at night knowing that they're misleading people. You can target loot farm through Noah but that's the only one that I know of.
EDIT: Let me clarify before anyone gets confused as my original post wasn't descriptive enough. Certain channels are saying you have a higher chance of getting specific guns or armors from specific expeditions, which is false. I just wanted to spread awareness to keep people from spending hours in expeditions they don't like.

Even in this thread people are still saying "yeah buuut".
There isn't targeted drops from expeditions period, there also isn't a requirement to run EOTS to get all legendaries, nor a world tier requirement.
1327+ expeditions, 15+ days of game time.
My account is sitting at like 99% of legendary weapons acquired, 95% of legendary armor pieces acquired (100% of pyro and techno, don't play the others as much), my highest world tier is WT13, I almost exclusively run Chem plant, boomtown and archways and I haven't completed eye of the storm on any character.
That alone should tell you that drops are purely RNG and not any of this clickbait conspiracy nonsense.

Honestly, without any data-mining to really give us the facts, any perceived drop wonkiness leads to all sorts of loot superstition.
I think it's one of those things where the superstition doesn't necessarily hurt as long as you're not wasting a bunch of time doing only those particular expeditions. For example, me and buddy were both hunting for a Siesmic Commander helmet, we followed the superstitions of "go to Colosseum after you get Bronze or better in EotS", and we both got our helms (he got it first try, I got mine in the 4th or 5th run)... but we weren't backing out of lobbies and rejoining just to get this specific expedition in rotation. If it wasn't available, we just did whatever was available that we wanted to do.

Do you gain experience from redoing historian and wanted missions?
I am trying to grind up in levels so expeditions go easier for me playing solo. I just dont know it its moving anything my class tier. I'm on 12 now.

I'm not sure what the conversion rate is but we replayed quests until we were WT15, then switched to expos. It started us at CT4 -- whether that is the standard starting place or the WT15 place, I have no idea.
ID: gy0j65aI'm more trying to gain levels past 30, as that's where I'm at right now. I've seen other people at lvl 50. That's the xp that I'm trying to build up.
ID: gy0ko4wI personally just kept doing the hunt sequence on max wt over and over to finish up my lvl and WT. One full cycle was about 1 full WT, and the whole thing usually gets done in about 45 min.
If you do this to grind legendaries, do all but the last hunt. Of your choosing on wt1, then the last on wt15-- you should be able to cycle it in about 30 minutes.**

ID: gy0oncsFrom what I've seen, as long as you're on top level tier, each kill adds xp to your world tier. Even low level creatures, just a minuscule amount.

Been working on something 🙂 all the data. Only accurate for parties of 3. With that said, don't take this as a 1 to 1. Rng is rng ya know and there are so many other variables that are not accounted for (i.e trickster shotgun class tree)

Yes they lie. Having legendaries drop in specific expeditions is a lie. The truth is the legendaries don't drop anywhere so you're pretty much screwed no matter what you do.

There's no actual data to back any of it up.
I know for a fact that Lazerbolt runs 100’s of expeditions along with other members on his discord to compile stats. Ultimately you are right there isnt any data from the developers but its not difficult to see patterns which beg the question of whether certain expeditions are “weighted” differently.

I agree with you, and i dont believe in tageted loot, however...... i did get my deathshield from paxian as it was stated in the video (in my 2nd run, but i also found 3 more deathsield from boom town and archways) , and i also dropped my acari chest drom mountain outpost very quickly (but i also found 2 more from chem plant and archways) so it may be confusing, i dont think that there is enough data to actually confirm or 100% deny it. Rng is a bitch, thats all i know.
I've gotten 2 Acari chests from Scorched Lands and 4 Deathshields from Timeworn Spire. I got a Funeral Pyre and a Bulwark on Boom Town, and the very next run on Stargrave, I got a Funeral Pyre and a Bulwark.
It's RNG.

Outriders has a weirdly intense youtube presence. I think they went a little far with the ambassador program for a non-live-service game.

In desperation I followed one of these charlatans and actually got 7/12 Lego drops as shotguns! Sadly not the one I wanted but still!

Bingo! I got 3 deathshields in a row on 3 completely different “non-shotgun” expeditions as they would call them. It’s really horse doo doo.
I have a lot of time on this game and have all 4 classes, pyro being main and expos i mostly run are chem plant, boom town, mountain outpost, colosseum and drought palace. I literally got everything from those expos.
The world we live in is filled with people who would say anything to get views and attention because they hope to become rich being a streame
The funniest part is when they tell you, oh you gotta have 10 lego runs to get this on an expedition that is supposedly dropping specific loot. It’s hilarious, if you ran any 20 expos including no lego runs i guarantee you thw chances of getting the item you need would be very high.
The whole thing is a joke but as long as there are gullible people, there will be snake oil salesmen.
