Just FYI for anyone still doing the tarkov shooter questline; don't use the mosin, since the 12.9 patch the sv-98 is superior in every way and cheaper too, and close range you can use the vpo-215 with .366 ap for better one-shot kill potential for upper chest.
My 16 shots landed of 7n1 with 1 kill round would like to say, I wished I brought a DVL. Honestly this quest is beyond impossible after a certain point of the wipe. I tried over 50 times and it's pure luck, you need to run into level 1-10 players bottom line or your screwed. I died to so many people with M4's shooting m995, or SR-25 with m61, you just cant win those fights. They need to change this quest, maybe 3 kills without dying, but not in 1 raid.
I am working on this quest now. It’s absolutely killing me. It’s so bad. I love this game but this is the first one that is forcing me to take breaks.

Now I feel bad I cheesed this quest yesterday, but than again where are the M4's with slicks on these guys? My last 10 attempts (easily tried over 50) I died to M995 M4 or m61 SR-25 guys and just couldn't take it anymore. They really need to do something with this quest, its infuriating now, you got so lucky to run into noob players

I love how you drop your insured headset and proceed to fail to equip the one from the dead guy.
A small tip: Try using [Ctrl]+[L-click] and [Alt]+[L-click]. The first one auto-picks up an item into your backpack, the second one auto-equips it, if a slot is free, so no need to drag stuff around.
[Ctrl]+[L-click] also can be used to quickly drop loot into your Stash.
