That's exactly what they said about BF5 reveal. Also it's a cross gen game, so i'm not expecting anything 'mindblowing' at all.

ID: gygd3sathis was actually accurate. Battlefield became one of the beloved big scale shooting game to one of the most mediocre and disappointing gaming experience. Battlefield wasn't same anymore.

The point of that trailer was to show the new features and it did it well.
They showed towing, squad revives, grenade throw backs, fortifications, etc.
People got upset because they had cosmetics and then once the meme started reddit refused to accept anything else despite the reality

Golden katanas and one-armed women with cricket bats, Kratos, British troops driving an American transport vehicle, almost the entire trailer was showcasing skins. Then DICE followed it up by saying there were only a few maps at launch and only two factions.
If we jumped from BF4 to BFV it would still have been a bad trailer, but wouldn't have gotten the same amount of hate that it got after following the juggernaut that was BF1 and the ridiculously good reveal trailer for that game.

For me the "blown away" factor lies on the amount of players, destruction, and combat will be lol.

I think they’re really banking on people connecting with the modern (near-future) setting of Battlefield again, and I don’t blame them. After BF1 and BFV it’s clear that this is the right move, but first impressions are everything.
Hopefully they learned their lesson from the BFV reveal trailer. I’m extremely hyped for this as a concept, but I know EA still has an opportunity to royally fuck this up.

Just shut up and show us something. I'm tired of these "teases". All they serve to do is hype of something that will, in all likelihood, end up disappointing.
The way they're playing it up, I think the only thing that will potentially live up to the hype would be either an announcement that BF6 is actually BC3 and/or a remaster of BC1/2 since that subseries has long been the fan favorite of the franchise.

I'm always blown away by how fast paced and action packed the trailers are, then I play the beta and everyone is camping 30 miles away with snipers.

I am afraid of the Battlepass and it's limited time unlocks. I am going to avoid every multi-player game with a Battlepass because I don't want to grind one game with so little time, then I rather keep playing singleplayer games

Of course the graphics will set new standards. Frostbite is brutal. But there is EA involved and all the fans know how it went with BFV.

if i can destroy some walls, but not all, then i may as well not be able to destroy any. I'm not going to memorise which walls you deem destructible just to i don't grenade myself in the face while trying to escape a building.
