ID: gylu9gvI had to actually turn my lights on in my room to get through that part until the power was restored. I freaked the fuck out as soon as the flashlight lit up on it. No other horror game has ever had that effect on me before.

The part that more unsettling was running away at the last sequence, hiding under the bed, and hearing the baby laughs and cries coming for me and I had nowhere to go

Gotta say, I like how the tank character that pursues you is the giant vampire lady. It's like oh shit, gotta run, but that's harder to do with this raging boner.

It was such a god damn good game. Honestly my favorite RE entry and I've been playing since the mansion in the mid/late 90's. I love what they did with the story. Dramatics and all.

ID: gymqlahYea you can. 7 starts a new story that is basically a clean slate. You don't have to know anything about the previous games to enjoy 7 and 8.

It was hard for the game to keep my interest once you get past the vampire fly girls and the spooky crazy doll lady. Those two bits were very exciting and then suddenly it's like "Mean guy with magnet powers sends waves of bullet-sponge zombies lycans to kill you because he a bad guy"
ID: gylc8xvI personally really liked him. Only parts I wasn't a big fan of was the giant fish. I also wish the crazy doll lady was a bit longer. They could have done so much more with her.

ID: gylfd5gI liked Heisenburg's design and all, I just feel like he should have been one of the first ones you kill since his theme feels a lot more generic than the others. I get they were going for a shooting focused segment but it felt weak to me having that after the more exciting (in my opinion) chase and escape room segments.
