It's 16" and it doesn't have a numpad?
ID: gyxu7taID: gyyk0hkI have the opposite problem--I always use a number pad and get upset because I can't purchase a smaller laptop with a numpad. I know one of them has a pseudo numpad built into the touchpad, but that doesn't do it for me--shrink the keys a bit and make room.

I wonder if they will do 11800H+6700m pairing.
ID: gyxhd2ethat'd be odd since there is a ryzen version. but i find it hilarious that maybe it's the best way to showcase rdna 2 full potential since cezanne doesn't support pcie 4.0 that rdna2 has
ID: gyz2mbjeven rtx 3080 mobile still couldn't saturate pcie 3.0 x8 so it should be fine.
ID: gyzz0jaSays in the article they do.

Why only 32gb of memory support? I do hope this supports 64gb.
ID: gywatfw32gb is the highest amount they'll sell you. You can install 64gb yourself and it'll work just fine since the CPU supports 64gb.
ID: gywd43pJust so he knows, since this is a laptop, more memory will lower the efficiency of the laptop for most day to day tasks.
ID: gyw97wkSometimes the manufacturer's listed maximum is wrong. The maximum RAM depends what the CPU can support, and how many slots it has.
ID: gyw9ff3Isn’t BIOS compatibility a factor as well?

Im wondering with sam being a thing, that when ddr5 ram comes out we might get unified memory between the cpu and gpu. Like how consoles do it.
ID: gywksvcwouldn't that mean we can't upgrade it?
ID: gywn43gTechnically yes but that should be judged on a product by product basis. My lenovo has 16gb soldered memory and that's perfectly fine for my ryzen 4500u even though it's ddr4. Technically speaking, soldered memory saves space but it reduces upgradability. Personally between 16gb and 24gb sounds great for a 15w to 25w chip with a integrated rdna 2/3. This is all speculation of course but considering what sam is and how consoles are made, it is a very real possibility that laptops could get the same treatment with shared cp
memory. Phones over time became less accessible to work in and it seems laptops are slowly shifting that way as well. More and more laptops seem to be getting comfortable with soldered on ram.ID: gyy181rThat would suck. I hope they keep it separate.

Would love to see HP bringing these Omen gaming laptops to where i live. But alas, they seem to be downsizing their operations here and probably will left the country.

Would resizable bar be supported then?

Honestly I never use the numberpad.
Probably a cost saving measure as most people buying a RX Laptop is probably gaming as Nvidia has a tight hold on Productivity community.
