- Who didn't feel like this kid in the 80s when they got their first NES system
-
It’s like the mum, dad and kid have been squashed together to form this person
-
Dear lord save my retinas from that flash cube! Fake smile for grandma, it will soon be over, fake smile, fake smile, ...
-
I can't tell if this is a little boy, little girl, or 95 year old woman who's pumped up for her new Nintendo
-
Uh me. I didn't fucking know what the hell my dad even brought home. Slowly, I began to get the concept of video games, though. Just had to understand Super Mario Bros.
Anyway, I had this set, I think, but the Zapper was gray.

When minimal "technology" was more than enough entertainment & still fun!
ID: gz40kvuID: gz40zh7The NES was like three steps ahead of the Atari consoles, which were the previous standard. This was high class stuff, bro.
ID: gz45165The NES was part of the third console generation. I played some of the earlier consoles like TI and coleco and those looked rudimentary compared to the NES.
The TI did have a cool voice synthesizer though.

Me. I have a tendency to be rather stoic at times.

-
Hey, this is me, except I had the Gray Zapper and the Power Pad. Instant addict. My mind was blown.
-
I got the triple pack one. Walked in my room and my ma had already connected it and had Mario bros paused on a new TV. That was a great day!
-
How can they look so old and young at the same time
-
I remember asking for it to be my Christmas present for the next few years but thankfully i got more games. Too bad i dont have kids on my own to share the same experience i had as a child
-
What a nice lighthearted moment.
-
