I was already happy replacing a 2080Ti with a 6800XT. But this is even better.
ID: h066rhnID: h06d3nnNo, it was in excellent condition. But because of the recent price crazyness I sold it quickly for the same price of a new 6800XT I managed to find.
The 6800XT has given me better performance in the games I already play, and it does not hurt to have more VRAM and newer architecture for developing with Unreal Engine.
I know the 2080Ti is great, and I am aware that the difference to the 6800XT in everyday usage is not really big. But for no extra cost, I could not let the 6800XT pass.
Also the 6800XT runs much quieter than the 2808Ti did, so that was a nice unexpected benefit.
Lastly, I am no fan-boy of either nVidia or AMD (or any company for that matter); I just usually go with whichever card is the best benefit that I can find when upgrading.
ID: h062mojYou do know that nvidia gpus get FSR as well right?
ID: h066omhIf you use Nvidia, you're better off using DLSS.
ID: h06ay5pThat would not be very wise

So 5600x is irrelevant by this
ID: h07sruwDon't think so. I assume the 5600g won't boost as high.
ID: h08e1wiMy guess is it makes 5600 (non-X) irrelevant.
Edit: more accurately it might never come out.

Is your 2080Ti in bad condition that you're replacing it?
