Games like God of War should be next-gen exclusive so that they can deliver their full potential, not Rayman.

That's what the trailer looks like yes...However there's a reason they have delayed it so much. So you no longer know what it will actually look like or will be capable of
Why would they make it next gen exclusive? Devs should make next gen with in my mind. If it will look and play like last gen there is no reason to make it next gen only.
I want it to look and play like next gen too. I am not saying they will do it. Just voicing what I would like! If they are going to take their time I want next gen performance

Honestly over remakes at this point. Make some original games, or at least a sequel.
You can't really enjoyably play The original trilogy any more unless you have the old HW. On PC PoP1 doesn't support controllers and there is no method to use one the last two times I checked.
I played through PoP1 on GoG with a mouse and keyboard recently. It plays fine, only irritation was turning some of the levers was clearly done with analogue stick in mind.
Otherwise plays great.
You can play it on the PS3 just fine.
So it'll basically be Far Cry and Rainbow Six Extraction at Ubiforward. And a ton of DLC news for their recent games.
Seems a lot of games/studios people wanted see bailed (ie Skull n Bones, Divisions Studio, PoP, etc)

Well considering it was supposed to launch, what, last year, February this year, and now it’s moved into next year I can assure you it’s absolutely not “in it’s current state” that we saw last year.
Game looked like shit anyway
I hope they pull it off, but could see Ubi eventually pulling the plug on this one.
I don't know who convinced them/the bigwigs that what they previously showed was good enough and people would totally absolutely not mock them.
It was something for a support team to do and prove they could handle a big game release... they were likely given a too small budget too. Backash hopefully gave Ubisoft some insight and they decided to give it the support it needed which may have been way more than they planned.

I wish Ubisoft and EA would have been a part of E3, like Microsoft or Sony showcase. Their events are always underwhelming. I don't remember a single thing I'm excited for on those events.
I’m honestly surprised it hasn’t been canceled. It’s good to see that they seemed to be committed to it. I do think at this point however it should just be a reboot instead of a remake, but I guess you can say that is the case now.
Last I heard Ubisoft India was taking charge on this, but unfortunately with the way COVID has been tearing through India recently I'm not surprised by this. Maybe they may choose to pass it onto a different team instead.
Kind of surprised. It looked nearly done.
Graphics didn't look so bad, just needed better textures.
How about something new instead? Hell I’ll even take a new Prince of Persia. This level of risk aversion is cannibalizing the future for a quick 50 cents.
