My PC is showing this error. So I thought maybe I'll override the boot option or find some other solution. But the SSD (which consists of the OS) isn't showing up in the bios. Please somebody help!

Get to the BIOS and check what the boot order is, move your SSD if it is detected to the top.
The issue might be with one of three things, the motherboard SATA port, the SATA cable to SSD; connecting a backup HDD if you have one should help you figure out issue.
Try accessing the SSD from a different machine if you have one just so you can backup any data you might want.

My friend, this once happened to my dad's laptop once, he had apparently slapped his laptop too hard and the harddrive crashed. Your SSD might be damaged, or cables might be loose. I'd suggest going to an expert.

This is the same issue with my PC . I don't know if it would work for permanent bases but temporarily you should check your bios settings for your pc model online. I tried it and it can fix it for someone . At least you can copy your important files and project to your drive or any other safe place .

This happend to me a couple of months ago, I changed my SATA data cable and it's working fine ever since.

Sata SSD or M.2? If it's sata check the wire from the PSU and Motherboard try reconnecting them. If M. 2 check whether its properly seated inside the slot.

Try different cable, if cable fine then try other data ports on motherboard.

I used to have this issue on my old PC, removing and reconnecting the ram usually did the trick.
Try doing the same with your SSD.

- Clear CMOS & reset BIOS to default settings & shutdown.
- If the SATA SSD still doesn't show up, swap the SATA port for the drive.
- If problem persists, replace the SATA Cable.
- If problem still persists, SATA SSD needs to be checked with another system. -
This can sometimes happen at random.

This happened to me when I switched from Intel RST to AHCI. Apparently, the recommend fix is to switch back to whatever it had before, add entry so that I boots to safe mode on next boot, switch to AHCI and boot.
Windows should automatically install the drivers once it boots safe mode.
