This extension allows applications to specify a custom border color for when the sampler address mode VK_SAMPLER_ADDRESS_MODE_CLAMP_TO_BORDER is used. VK_KHR_shader_subgroup_uniform_control_flow
This extension exposes the availability of the SPV_KHR_subgroup_uniform_control_flow SPIR-V extension for shader modules use. The SPIR-V extension provides stronger guarantees that diverged subgroups will reconverge. VK_EXT_color_write_enable
This extension allows applications to selectively enable and disable writes to output color attachments via a pipeline dynamic state. This has the potential to reduce pipeline counts for increased efficiency. Fixed Issues While playing MechWarrior 5™: Mercenaries on DirectX® 11, visual artifacts may be observed on some AMD Radeon graphics products such as Radeon RX 6000 series graphics products. An error message – Error 184 – may be received after running the AMD Auto-Detect and Install Updates utility program on Windows® 7 based systems. Adobe Substance 3D Painter™ may freeze while running this application on some AMD Radeon graphics products such as Radeon RX 6900. Known Issues Some users may experience elevated memory usage by AMD User Experience Program. A temporary workaround is to opt-out of the AMD User Experience Program. Learn more from AMD here on how to opt out of the program. Resident Evil Village™ may experience an intermittent application hang or TDR on AMD Radeon VII graphics products in the first mission of the game. Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen to occur when enabled on some games and system configurations. Any users who may be experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround. Connecting two displays with large differences in resolution/refresh rates may cause flickering on Radeon RX Vega series graphics products. An Oculus service error may be received on Radeon RX 5000 & 6000 series graphics products which prevents the Oculus Link setup software from running. Radeon performance metrics and logging features may intermittently report extremely high and incorrect memory clock values. If Ryzen Master is not detected in Adrenalin software after installation, a system restart may be required. If Blue or Black screen is observed in mobile systems, temporarily disable Enhanced sign-in A driver mismatch error may appear when two versions of Radeon software (Windows Store & AMD Support versions) are installed on your system. As a temporary workaround, launch the Windows Store version of Radeon software. AMD is investigating an issue that may cause a small impact to battery life on AMD Ryzen 5000 notebooks. A Blue or Black screen may be observed after updating to the latest Radeon Software. A workaround is to disable core isolation. AMD is investigating a D3 code that may be seen in some motherboard after updating to the latest Radeon Software. Lower than expected performance may be observed on select AMD Athlon™ mobile systems. AMD Link for Windows Known Issues Intermittent grey frame corruption might be observed when streaming with HEVC on certain configurations via an Internet connection. A workaround is to use the AVC encoding setting instead. -

Hey, I have a Vega 56 and this flickering you speak of, is that where after loading Windows the screen will just continually turn on and off very quickly so you are unable to do anything?

When I had a Vega64, my only workable solution was a better quality HDMI and/or DP cable. Never expected the wire I had wasn't good.. after this, I tested about 5 more different new cables, issues were present on 3 of the 5.

But what about the actual MCLK issues running two screens at anything over 120hz with Freesync enabled? My card isn't imagining all the juice it's using on idle or the elevated temps causing my fans to kick in with nothing running on screen.

Just running one screen at 144hz cuases my memory clock to stay maxed out. Even on the desktop. It fixes it when turned down to 120hz

Joke's on you, you'll need NVMe and much bigger RAM. And your snarky dismissal is ridiculously immature.
DirectStorage is meant to reduce excessive VRAM usage. Higher quality textures on powerful GPU without ridiculous VRAM requirements. So you'll need a very powerful GPU, fast I/O and CPU to begin with.

vulkan already has way better performance than dx12. even directstorage will not make dx12 get on vulkans level.
so it's rather the other way round. dx12 is in trouble, that's why they will need even more than just DS to compensate in the future

It's working fine with Windows 11 I think. I didn't have any issues since this morning. I played Cyberpunk and Hitman 3. (5700XT)

i have no audio in certain games/programs after updating to any other driver after 21.4.1.

yes, ive tryed every thing and nothing. i have a asus xonar u5 sound card. the problem seems to occur when the audio is pluged on it, if i switch to my mother board, the problem desapear.

Just want to add. If you have a green screen issue when recording clips with radeon, just turn vsr on then off and it should work. Check your monitors refresh rate after turning vsr back off because it might lower it.

Did they finally fix destiny 2. It said they fixed it last driver but it is still unplayable as there are random stutters that last seconds

Its normal if u go into new locations for the first time bec. your PC needs to cache some shaders.
I would recommend to play like 2 rounds of Control (Kinda hard with the stutters ik) and go to some destinations (EDZ for example).
The stutters normally go away after some time.

As good a place to ask as any, I guess… does anyone else’s Adrenalin (updated as of yesterday) say that their 5600x and 6800xt does not meet minimum / recommended requirements for most games? I.e., Far Cry 5, RDR2, GTA V, etc… weird.

5700 XT here and a friend with a 580, we both see in Adrenaline a lot of Red X's that say "hardware doesn't meet minimum requirements for random game". We found it funny.

What's the problem? I can play the game just fine on newest drivers, both on my 5700xt until last month or so and on my 6700xt now. (just a general tip, odyssey and origins perform a lot better with dxvk. Just Google 'dxvk assassins creed origins windows' to look it up).

at certain points game crashes and AMD drivers restart. in open world it works great, but in some caves and parts where there is extra interactions (like Sphinx) - new drivers crash. i tried about half of 2021 drivers, including latest 3 ones. all has the same issue. with last years Novembe
drivers i have zero issues.but new drivers crash only in odyssey from all other games i have tried.

I hope AMD are really smart and release drivers that are great for protein folding for pre Polaris graphics cards, IE the graphics core next gpus, it would be a waste not to support them in that way, and it would put older Gpus to very good use.

Previous driver fixed all of my destiny 2 issues and even gave me better framerate
21.6.2 broke the game again.
I'm fucking sick of this shit amd I've been defending you for a long time and at this point I'm buying an Nvidia gpu as soon as I'm able to.

Nope, I rolled back to 21.6.1 and the issues were gone.
