hey guys,
just wanna let you see what i got for golden nugget for CPU
-
What voltage
ID: h4dq29eID: h4dq5i7Agreed
ID: h4ez23nmy 3700x hits 1.35 without any oc from my side, i think sometimes it even goes slightly higher
ID: h4dq08u1,35 just tested quick, have orderd a new cpu fan and other rams
ID: h4dq4cs1.35 is too high for Zen2. Try 1.3 and below.

I don't want to belittle your cpu but considering the recent results of 7nm silicon especially on XT versions, it seems almost normal to me.
I bought a few 3600 from aliexpress a while ago and they all had a recent production date and were pretty nice overclockers, the worst one was able to hit 4.4 at 1.25 while the best ones did 4.5 at the same voltage, i could see them doing 4.6 at 1.3+.ID: h4dsn2wA 3600 is FAR easier to achieve higher core clocks than a 3700X which is lower binned than a 3800X.
I’ve seen tons of 3600s get 4.4+ GHz at reasonable voltages but very few 3700Xs hit > 4.4 GHz since it’s much harder to get a fully functional 8-core CCD than it is for a 6-core CCD.
Newer 3700Xs definitely fare better than older ones though but they still tend to lose to a 3600/3600X in pure clock speed overclocking.
OP’s feat is definitely impressive. Mine can’t even hit 4.2 GHz @ 1.3V and requires ~1.35V for that and won’t budge above 4.3V even at 1.45V though mine is a pretty old sample (manufacturered November 2019).
ID: h4dt924You are probably right, i forgot about the ccd stuff. My old 3600 used to be garbage too, 1.36V to hit 4.150, luckly a friend didnt care about oc and stuff and bought mine for almost the same price i pad for it so i was able to buy a new one which was decent 4.2 at 1.25-6V and 4.3 at 1.32V.
Not the best but it's better and cooler due to massive voltage reduction.ID: h4dq4iknice, but u got pixx?
ID: h4eayhmyou mean pics? Unfortunately not, it was a period where a lot of people i knew were building a pc and i just keep screens of my results not others :v but you can find a lot of people on different forums claiming what i said.

Are you prime95 small ffts stable?
-
That on one core right? What frequency do the other cores go up to?

ID: h4eievkSweet baby jesus! Indeed a golden chip. Congrats my guy.
ID: h4eyepqthat’s sexy as hell.

You got exactly 1k points more than my 3700x on 4,30GHz at 1.215V. Unfortunately I can't overclock any more without making my system unstable

From the 2nd screenshot it seems to be 1.36v, which I wouldn't recommend, that is pushing into degradation territory.
