- The BioWare Bundle consisting of Dragon Age Inquisition and Mass Effect Andromeda is 80% off at $11.99 till July 22 in the current sale.
-
Does it have to come with Andromeda?
-
Inquisition is a good game. Just make sure you don't do everything before moving on to the next area or else you're going to dtive yourself crazy.
Andromeda sucks. Bad characters, bad story, removed a lot of stuff that made mass effect interesting. Gameplay was all right at best but can't carry the terrible story and characters.
-
I completed Dragon age and don't remember anything at all, that sums it up for me.
I've played the demo for Andromeda and wasn't too impressed. Is the game worth getting if I enjoyed the old games and does it get better later on? I love space games and need one to play
-
dont waste your money tbh, if you expect andromeda to be like the trilogy, you def are wasting money
-
Ah okay! Didn't get a great impression from the demo and if it doesn't improve later in the game I'll just give it a pass
-
I'll pay $15 if they take it Andromeda
-
Dragon Age: Inquisition kind of blows
Honestly I feel like BioWare is really just running on name recognition at this point; their modern games have been middling, mediocre, snoozefests.
Sure, they’re functional and they tick all the boxes but there’s so many better games out there to spend your time with.
-
I thought the original Dragon Age was great... but everything else in the entries has been pretty mediocre. I'm glad that there are some people here who enjoy the later games though, but IMO the original Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 were the last really great games Bioware made
-
The Bioware Disappointment Bundle
-
They should have included Anthem as well
-
Even if EA pays me $11.99 an hour to play these trash games, I'd respectfully decline.
-
Why not do a 60 dollar bundle for inquisition and the legendary mass effect game... Andromeda is dookie.
-
so the worst of the series has to offer
-
Is this the GOTY version? And are the DLCs good?
-
Idk if this is gotten but inquisition has awesome dlcs.
-
It's not the goty edition
-
Yes and yes. I have the same bundle for Steam. It's GOTY with all DLC's for DAI. Andromeda never had any DLC's, it just a deluxe edition if I remember correctly with multiplayer add-ons if I remember correctly.
-
Andromeda is only worthwhile on PC with extensive mods. Mouse/kb controls also really effect the game.
-
I tried hard to like this game but it just didn't do it for me.
-
Any of them got 60 fps?
-
ME Andromeda gets shit on a lot. It's clearly a letdown compared to the original trilogy, which are amazing games. But on it's own, it's an okay game. The controls, especially combat and driving, are leaps and bounds better than any other ME game. It actually feels like a competent 3rd person shooter. The story is decent, it starts out pretty good, but definitely loses steam once it's get to the more Mass Effecty stuff. In the original trilogy I wanted to do absolutely everything, in Andromeda I started doing that, but eventually just lost interest and did the main story and few side missions for the characters I liked. The crew of the ship is a mixed bag, I really liked some of them, others I ignored almost the whole time, but their banter is pretty entertaining. If you don't judge it as "this is a Mass Effect game" and just as a game on its own, you might enjoy it a bit. And since each game is basically $6 that's a solid deal IMO
-
I must be weird...I enjoyed both a lot.
-
I really wanted to like both of these games. Sadly, I mostly did not. Still...I find myself wanting to try again just because I like the franchises overall so much.
But that path probably just leads to renewed disappointment...
-
I’ll pass
-
Nice. Would spend this just on inquisition. I've played that one on pc already though and it's great. Though you will spend a lot of time walking across the maps to your quest objectives.
-
Here I go buying dragon age again. PS3 ,steam, might as well do it one more time…
-
I just want dragon age!
-
Are either of these games 60 fps capable on PS5?
-
Why did i read $119.99 and was like wtf!
-
Just played Mass Effect 1 & 2 how does Dragon Age games compare?
-
Do these games have increased frame rate on the PS5?
-
Andromeda is a decent GAME. The story and characters are it’s worst part imo, but the gameplay makes up for it.
-
I really wish companies like EA would just unlock the frame rate and bump up the resolution for like a $5 upgrade fee. I would pay that easily if I could play Inquisition on my PS5 at 4K 60fps.
-
Flop era bioware should always be that much
-
I feel kinda bad for the developers of Andromeda, because I feel it's a decent game - it just fails at what people tend to expect from a good Mass Effect game.
The story is horrendous, it's still Buggy as hell, the animations are poor at times, and some of the characters are so half-baked and annoying, like Liam.
But if you can ignore all that stuff, as I did, you're left with a really fun combat loop, contextualized by the fantasy of exploring uncharted worlds and building a new home for humanity - which I feel they achieve. I also found characters like Peebee, Vetra, Drack, and Jaal to be really fun and interesting.
It's a 6 or 7 out of 10 for me. The biggest shame is that it definitely could have been a 10/10 if they spent more time on it, but it is a bit unfortunate that it gets lumped in with the worst games ever made.
-
"but if you can ignore all that stuff (the KEY ELEMENTS that make ME games masterpieces) andromeda is a good game"
-
it just fails at what people tend to expect from a good Mass Effect game
Andromeda delivers on the fantasy of exploring a new galaxy, and settling it. But it doesn't deliver on a Mass Effect experience.
-
More like, "Andromeda is an alright game, just not a good ME game."
-
Your comments are so over the top and cringe.
-
They should be paying me to play andromeda
-
I'd only get Andromeda for the combat and if the online servers are still functional. Playing online in ME3 was a blast and Andromeda didn't suffer in that department like the rest of it did.
-
Andromeda is a piece of shit, worst mistake was buying it over 40 bucks.
-
Both games offer no ps5 benefits 🙁
-
If you play Adromeda, stick to the main story missions. The side missions are just not fun and a total waste of your time. The story mission are the good Mass Effect game you want to play.
-
Unpopular opinion but I always preferred Dragon Age: Inquisition over The Witcher 3 although that last one was objectively a lot more smooth and overall a better game.
I just enjoyed DA: I so much I would honestly recommend it to everyone to give it a chance.
As others said before, do not try to 100% everything, you'll get bored. Just try to go through the game at a swift but enjoyable pace and you might be surprised at the epicness that the DA: I main story brings.
-
You can get it cheaper on eBay.
-
$11.98 too expensive
-
Two extremely mediocre games hardly seems like a bundle to me.
-
No thanks.
-
Andromeda the best mass effect game
