Great game. Vast improvement over 3, which was a vast improvement over 1 and 2. Great graphics, gameplay, and sound design. Well worth the time.

ID: h694lidIt's not a native PS5 version, just a patch to improve the resolution when playing on PS5. Boot the game on your PS5, should download automatically, less than 200MB.

Aside hitman this series is probably the best stealth action games in recent memory. Challenging yet fair.
And unlike hitman you don't feel penalized for using your gadgets and stuff
ID: h695i2kYep, I loved Splinter Cell Chaos Theory but had that same complaint - peanilsed for using all your gear.
That's why I really got into SE4 - it gives you lots of different tools, but it's your choice how to utilise them.

No mention of haptics/adaptive triggers in the trailer, we’re they added for PS5?
ID: h6977amThis is just an update on the PS4 version as far as I can tell so no haptics or triggers.
I think with them calling it a new gen upgrade it is causing a lot of confusion as people are expecting a native PS5 version to upgrade to!

ID: h6ah59yIt absolutely is. The mission maps are massive, and you have a lot of freedom to choose how you approach your objectives. The game difficulty is also extremely adjustable, from casual arcadey fun to punishingly difficult realistic modes.

Does anyone know if this update will come to Super Elite 4 from PS Now? Avengers was on PSN also and didn’t receive the ps5 upgrades, you had to actually buy the game to do that.
For Honor was the same way. Which was super unfortunate.
If this is the case, I’m also curious if anyone knows how to buy a game that is on PS Now. I was getting frustrated because the store recognizes I have PSN and just says download - with no option to buy.
I literally want to give my money to get the ps5 upgrades but they’ve made it difficult.
ID: h69g4cfIt should, because Sniper Elite 4 even with this patch is still a PS4 game, so if you download SE4 from PSNow it should get the patch. You wouldn't be able to stream it with the improvements, though, so make sure to download it.
Edit: Also wanted to add that the Avengers thing was because there was a whole new version of Avengers for PS5, not just a patched PS4 version. That was the difference there I believe.

Pretty fun game. Saw some feller mention Hitman too, personally I prefer Hitman, but this game is really neat too. Gonna guess most of us like being a sneaky sniper, that would explain why my Battlefield teams are always 50% recons lol.

True, every iteration is a great improvement I’ll give them that. I started with 2 then progressed and figured I’d go back to 1 and oof that one aged pretty rough. I remember it being pretty popular at release too but I think even if I played it then I wouldn’t have liked it the ai is bonkers
