flcikering from freesync on 6800xt when alt tabbing out of a game to chrome is still not a known issue nor fixed issue. Or am i in the minority with this problem?
ID: h6riqbwID: h6r5rg9I don't have that on a 6700XT - it might your display. PS - I'm using a Samsung C32HG70 connected via DP.
ID: h6r8iliGot an lg34gn850-b but i'v heard from people running other screens aswell and this was not an issue before 21.6.1. Rolling back to 21.4.1 fixes it or disabeling freesync also fixes it.
ID: h6r69eyI also have this issue, you just have to keep tabbing in and out til it stops, though I assume you already know this. Annoying for sure
ID: h6r7y52Well for me it happens randomly the flicks, not all the time but a quick flick every now and then. i'v just disabled freesync cause they have not fixed the issue in 21.6.1 21.6.2 or 21.7.1. before that in 21.4.1 this was not an issue.
ID: h6rjfy9If i had my samsung g9 i would test and confirm but my samsung g9 still not back, im firefox user normally tho but installing chrome should be easy
ID: h6rp1wdSame issue. What monitor you have?
-
Connecting two displays with large differences in resolution/refresh rates may cause flickering on Radeon™ RX Vega series graphics products.
This is never getting fixed :/
ID: h6rf64gYou better buy two identical monitor next time!

A Blue or Black screen may be observed after updating to the latest Radeon™ Software when core isolation is enabled.
Good to see this fixed. This was causing some weird wake from sleep issues on a couple of RX6800s.
ID: h6rfek0Tbh it's a nice little driver update, nothing big and revolutionary, but still some good things inside.

21.7.2 ask if i trust amd certificate when i installed it.
I ddu it and i tried again and it asks me. 21.7.1 don't ask meID: h6rd114They probably updated the certificate and you probably have alowed the old one before.
ID: h6rgrr6AMD drivers don't ask for certificate and i know all drivers are certified by Microsoft even beta ones.
Also i know where windows stores certificates and only one certificate is stored. If i delete it previous drivers installed ok the new ones add an new AMD certificate.
But if i go in device manager i see it whql, so why it adds this?
ID: h6rn45rDid you change the Windows Update Group Policy to not allow driver installs from Windows Update?
I can confirm that this pop up does now show up with the release.
But there is nothing wrong with this.
ID: h6rfhchOMG What now?
-
AC Origins still crashes, guess I'll stay on the feb driver until they at least put it on Known Issues
-
Can we get a fix for this please only happens in revendreth world of warcraft with above 100% renderscale, also ray traced shadows may appear broken
ID: h6rdhtpyeah it's really annoying! hope they fix it soon.

"Driver timeouts may be experienced while playing a game & streaming a video simultaneously on some AMD Graphics products such as Radeon™ RX 500 Series Graphics."
It very rarely happened to me. It was on and off between drivers. I hope they finally fix it.
ID: h6rg9ujYeah, this issue has been around for some time now.
ID: h6rgueyIt happens so rarely that I wasn't sure from where it was. I had unstable ram problems before that would exhibit the same behavior. If I remember correctly they had that bug listed before.
ID: h6rh1djI have the issue on my RX 5700 too.
Reported it already 3 times after crash but unfortunately it happens randomly..

booooriiiiing...
where is my:
WDDM 3.0 hardware-accelerated gpu scheduler windows 11 whql driver RX 5000 SAM point me out what i have forgot??ID: h6r5u5eIf you're a Windows 11 Dev Insider, Windows Update would have pushed a WDDM 3.0 driver which I assume is still in testing.
It is the UWP variant to requires MS Store Radeon Settings and doesn't have ReLive or AMD Link.
The rest, no idea.
ID: h6rcjg3Bro don't feed him pls
ID: h6rdabyJust quit the sub, np.
ID: h6r4abnRight...What is the hold up
ID: h6r8k74What annoys my is why they still didn't enable SAM in 5700xt drivers.
ID: h6rd1stIt's a vBIOS thing, not drivers one. You can most probably enable it into the BIOS and you may find it enabled/supported on you GPUusing some software. The effect will be null tho.
Still you have a fair point. They might bring it to Vega cards also, but they just don't eanto to support older gen I guess.
ID: h6rap4hI was also hoping for Windows 11 support but apparently that won't happen until Windows start shipping a special build of Windows 11 to partners(I forget what it's called). The drivers that are installed with Windows 11 causes issues with Radeon Software and the drivers just before this one caused some games not to load. I eventually removed the AMD drivers along with Radeon Software, using the drivers that ship with Windows 11 and use MSI afterburner for tuning.
ID: h6rb693Yeah, waiting for the same stuff myself lol

The flicker issue reported with vega i had once with my 6900 XT DDU fixed fixed it potentially altho could be new psu to.
ID: h6rceeiDid you disable freesync on your monitor?
I have a 6900xt and I have flicker with my G5 ultra wide monitor when freesync is on. Which is a bummer because I need it.
ID: h6rfwc1No freesync just 2 displays with big differences in res and refresh rate, i wish i had my freesync panel waiting for my samsung g9 to return cos old one been thru 4 dead pixels 1 recovered 1 half dead 2 fully dead
ID: h6rlwjzHow's you 6900 performing? I have one as well and was thinking my performance would be a tad better (playing Warzone) being that it's the best spec GPU but I feel as though theres still some on the table amd/or I'm doing something wrong.
Still fairly new to PC building and tweaks. Just bought a new X570 mobo to help my 5900 in my max effort build, looking for all the gains.

Does anyone else have some kind of weird massive stutter on Hunt Showdown? Game runs great when you enter the match, but after 5 mins, massive 1s stutter happens every 10s or so. Makes the game unplayable.
Tried different settings, but no luck so far. 5800X and RX580 8GB, game is on SSD, so it's definitely not HW related. Using Radeon 21.7.1 drivers, although it showed the same thing on previous 3. Weird thing I've noticed is when the stutters start, the GPU Fans randomly start slowly ramping up to 57% (from the standard 20-25%), despite the GPU Temp basically being below 60*C at that fan speed lol.
Also, this is the only game showing such weird behaviour. Everything rest works fine.
ID: h6rfqi9My 2Cent, it's the old issue with AMD and CryEngine games.
Try some other Cry games if you can.

Thank you for aknowlenge the issue with horizon zero dawn and 6700xt. I hope you to fix it soon so I will jump to the newer driver because vulkan changes are massive and help with emulators.

Freesync issues tend to actually be related to the monitor itself.
All these manufactures run wildly different broad variable ranges.
Best thing is to use CRU to tighten the range.
