I dont like the AP system it doesn't make sense I can get 8 kills with 3k damage and get 16AP I would get the same amount of AP if I did nothing all game.

I really don't understand how the game randomly decides which rank is the best for a player. Some people lost 5/5 placement games this split and got put in PLAT 2. PLAT 2!!! I won 4/5 and got gold 1. So if the game decides im diamond then what? I won't get to masters? The game really should just let you accumulate your AP when you are in a winstreak. Period. No matter which rank. And right now sometimes it doesn't even work

If Crypto drone could collect material, that would be a nice buff for Arenas without being a drastic power increase in BR.

How the fuck is there not a TDM mode yet ? Like imagine how much more traffic that would bring and how much money they’d make and joy we’d have

Though I wish we can hold custom arenas game with our friends. It gets boring just messing around in the firing range. My friend group has 4 people playing (including myself) so there's always one person left out.

You ask me, it's simple, eh? They kill you, they're better. You kill them, you're better.

And really that's it, Arenas is a fight. If you don't do well in Arenas, it's time to learn how to fight.

Dog shit mode. Don't plan to play it ever again unless massive changes are made

It does not matter if you can shoot very well, if you don't know how to position yourself. Learn this.

Haven't played it since maybe the second week the mode was released. I'm not missing out on anything.

Here’s a hot take, I wish arenas were TDM with non stop respawns until the round is over not this csgo/valorant shit we got instead

The whole thing is shit. Almost all the maps suck, the matchmaking is horrendous and the ranked AP system is braindead

Hate this mode. Enjoyed it for a few days but it gets very repetitive and most people have no idea what to do. On the other hand I could play winter express from now until the end of time.

A lot of criticisms of ranked arenas could be addressed if they made the hidden MMR visible. As it stands people are often taken by surprise by their AP changes after a win/loss and they get frustrated.

I gave it another try past split... People say the only problem is the matchmaking, but the maps omfg they're terrible. Especially Encore, what's the point of such a huge map. Anyway you have to go ring immediately at the start of the match otherwise it's a guaranteed loss. It has no point, then still, after all these months, the ring in party crasher ends 90% of the times on the boat side. Still!! Omfg I can't believe they can't fix such an easy bullshit. Then matchmaking is still absurd, it makes zero sense to hide the real rank and that the matchmaking doesn't work as in ranked BR where at least you get people from the same rank. What's the sense of playing with bronze mates against diamonds? I will never be able to carry them so hard, as I'm playing 1 v 3.

The only time I get a good team I'm even more worried, because it means we're going against a completely cracked 3 stack. (Consider that I have 1.5 kd and 1400 avg dmg, so if they can destroy me hard they are people with at least 2.5 kd).

Also, why are players allowed to play ranked at level 14? Wtf??

Then they screwed up the prices removing the possibility to buy any other decent gun, so in the 1st round in high ranks is 3 wingman vs 3 wingman. That gun is so fuckin broken it's annoying. In low ranks is always 3 rampage vs 3 rampage. They should rotate the prices because like this it's unbearable. Abuse the strongest stuff, carry the hardest, and you may win and progress. What's that supposed to represent? Not skill, just patience.

After I artificially lose 4-5 matches in a row (as I'm playing 1v3 against 3 people of my skill), how the fuck should I feel like playing again?

It's so fuckin stupid it makes no sense. What's in the mind of the developers, what do they want to achieve??? I don't understand

I love Arenas. I love BR too, but at a certain point I don’t wanna loot, deal with 3rd parties, Or a champion squad of 20 piece badge preds who you know are gonna win the game.

Arenas let’s me get right into a fight with the guns I want, and the cat and mouse tactical parts are extremely fun. I love trying to understand who on the other team is the biggest threat and how they play as the rounds go on. Sometimes you gotta decide if you wanna give up good circle position for a care package or keep position to gate keep. Arenas is a very different and precise type of mode to win that I enjoy.

People might meme hating arenas, but I much rather lose to s team that just straight up outgunned me than to just get 3rd partied fresh after a fight or to land and literally not have a damn gun. The decreased RNG is huge for me

Any DEV that explains why "soloQ" level 10 players, who are just learning the mechanics of the game, play against full premade predators? (in RANKS)

Unpopular opinion: My friends and I fucking love it to warm up.

Every Apex player can find a reason to like this mode & it absolutely serves its purpose in this game.

In conclusion I still do love this mode & can see the potential it really has. A lot of the negative views towards this mode are due to it being new to the game and still having even worse bugs than Leagues. I would love to hear any suggestions or ideas I may have missed that make the mode good or bad (items cost, character metas, gun meta etc)

When I stop getting the hourly Code:Shoe from your game, I will venture back into game modes with leaver penalties, but until then it's pointless since I don't have hours upon hours to play.

Ranked is fine for warming up on aim.

It's funny hearing someone rage over the first round though.

Apex would be better without Arenas. I truly believe that. The game has gone to shit since they added it. No one likes it, the matchmaking causes crazy amounts of toxicity and frustration, and Arenas attracts the kind of new player (rushing and dying, rinse and repeat) that we really do not need; players who get into the game because of arenas and then move the same style of play into BR.

On top of that, Respawn have already shown they're incapable of maintaining one game mode. What makes them believe they can do two?

I took a break from apex to play halo infinite… I’ll stick to infinite for now. Arenas is one sweat game after another and it’s not fun getting beat all the time. Also by the way try switching to halo for a week and to be honest you won’t regret it

They must've just removed all the footstep audio to troll people for noticing how fucked the audio is. Between that and the completely insane amount of no-regs this is the worst season so far. I have no idea how they can make the game even shittier by next season but I have complete faith they'll pull it off.

she really doesn't. literally no legends need a nerf. a couple need a buff, but other than that, the legends are balanced

What would you nerf and why?

Her kit does too much. She is the legend with the highest winrate since her release. There is a reason for that. She has basically everything you need: movement ability, reposition tool, easy access to highground (which allows really stupid plays), aoe dmg ability and is a recoon character on top. The only thing she is missing is gibby dome or Rampart wall...

You can see why many solo players and steamers pick her, her kit is overloaded and too versatile

Either remove 1 of her advantages or put a drawback on one of them or increase her hitbox! Still better hitbox than pathfinder and revenant. Revenant and pathfinder are also good comparison options to show why valk needs a nerf!

would it be a bad idea to let us change characters in arenas? and i think 4v4, 5v5, or even 6v6 would be fun

If you change your character during Arenas everyone would just constantly try to "counter-pick" each other.

What would be any benefits at all for having these bigger teams? It just seems like a recipe for teams having WAYYYY too much going on abilities wise on both teams and being a mess. And you think it should be changing characters between each round? What would the benefit be? What problem is being fixed?

I don't even see the point of this awful mode except to learn about the game mode and type, which they are doing. But please just kill it and give us a better mode.

I think Area's could be better if you added one more team to the mix. Increase the map size a little to help spread the fighting out could work I believe.

I don't think a third party simulator mode would go down well considering how often people complain about being third partied in BR.

Third party simulator is exactly what arenas with 3 teams would be, only with no 4th and 5th parties and nowhere to run away to.

I get it 3rd parties in BR are never expected and not wanted. But if you go into a game mode knowing there is 2 teams could approach and fight that differently. Winter express without the train kinda thing.

Why not add 18 more squads and make the map really big?

They’re wondering the same thing. The matchmaking in Arenas is basically random.

Myself and my squadmates haven't touched it in months. It was a good change of pace at first but playing with random isn't fun and most of the Legends just aren't balanced for it.

So I maintained the pred arena rank in split 1, but it shows as master.

I definitely did maintain because I was like #55 in the world right before the split ended.

I'm afraid I might not get rewarded properly after the season ends as everyone has been reporting the same thing since the last season, please fix it before this season ends.
