It’s an old thing. 2016-2017 was “tone bad spitfire bad” peak before they nerfed it. Even people that didn’t experience the atrocities that was pre nerf spitfire just say “tone bad spitfire bad” because they know nobody will disagree with them.

I think it is hated because of the low recoil, low ttk, and very generous Precise aim assist.

I don’t hate the Spitfire, but these are most likely the reasons it is hated.
