I genuinely think the shop needs a complete rework. It's so boring and offers nothing good but the once a week semi good recolors. I have over 100k legends tokens and nothing to spend them on, at least make that currency have some use

This game is so fucking anti fun if you play on your own, because I have a good KD (from previous seasons when my friends actually played) I'm given new players to babysit every single game.
They are new so it's not their fault that they insta die every fucking fight but it is so frustrating and stressful that 99.99% of my games end up me 1v3ing nearly every fight.
I take month long breaks from this game and come back and instantly ruins my mood and I burn out quite quickly, the match making systems they have on this game is bullshit.

I’ve got a decent KD of 1.7, and so many of my teams recently have been people who lack any basic understanding of the game and seemingly are just running around like a chicken without its head. It leads to general confusion and a lack of decent planning for fights.

Why is this game so trash with randoms? People are constantly DCing and it's always for some bullshit reasons. Either they run off by themselves and get knocked down and DC, they get caught out of position and DC, the jumpmaster didn't get off the ship immediately to go and get slaughtered in the sea of other players so they DC, the jumpmaster did and inevitably things go to shit and they DC, didn't get the legend they wanted so they DC. I once had a guy DC right as I was about to respawn him with his box untouched after I had just finished off the enemy team, I was literally standing in front of the respawn beacon.

Please bring in tier demotion for someone at the bottom of a rank who doesn't get a single RP for multiple games in a row. I don't need these hardstuck D4s griefing my game because they ratted their way through Plat and don't know how to play positioning.

You know I do like to sometimes have a teammate when I play dou. Here is an easy fix just have a solo mode and be done with it lol

I started getting in the game more seriously and i dont play FPS games but Apex. So yesterday finally I got me a new light mouse from Razer and it felt good. I also got Kovaaks Aim Trainer and I used it for one day an hr and it made me feel something so I think Im in the right track.
I need to learn movements, positioning and some tricks probably. Wish me luck, I really wanna be better, just need right ways to find and apply the new things I want to learn. (plat ranked btw)

Anybody else recently getting very fast little moments of lag? ImperialHal and his teammates were having a bit of it in a tournament and I’ve been getting it for the last few days or so. It’s not like the game goes full on 500 ping but when gunfights happen you’ll start to get literally half a second or second of lag and stuttering and freezing up, but it never happens for more than that and it’s so fast you can’t even look into the corner to see the ping and FPS change. If those guys are getting it on their expensive PCs and I’m getting it on my base PS4 then it must be a server issue right?
It’s not just an FPS drop or general lag issue, I’ve had those before and they’re different. It’s honestly so frustrating it’s making me not want to play ever again.

I thought Season 6 was bad because of the half-assed content (remember when they just recycled old LTMs for half the season?) but Season 8 has been a showcase of the very worst this game has to offer:
terrible server performance bugged audio a grating announcer no one asked for (Maggie) an LTM that's more annoying than fun (ring flares) countless bugs and exploitsThe only good thing so far was the anniversary event. Prices were reasonable, you could choose the heirloom you wanted, and the locked and loaded mode elevated pubs to a new standard with a decent loot pool. It's a shame that it didn't become the default mode going forward (without the Mozambique), but alas.

The anniversary skins were rather disappointing, though. All recolors with the same lazy color scheme.
The quality issues are ridiculous, too. Sound bugs and hit reg are still ass.

Can ranked matchmaking be more sophisticated? If I'm solo queuing in Diamond (D3), please don't pair me with some hardstuck D4 player in a duo with someone in Platinum. More than half of my games have been like this and the lack of game sense is crippling.

I just want them to acknowledge it. Tell us you know and you're either going to fix it or not. Stop stringing us along
I've never played a game that had so little upfront acknowledgement and communication from the dev/management team about continually deepening core issues.
Also what the hell with the hit reg issues this season. There have been times I'm beaming someone mid range with a 4x and just watching bullet pass through them.

Took me a while to realize that people genuinely believe that since this game is free, you’re basically not allowed to criticize it. Servers suck? “Well you already get everything for free so.” It’s so sad that if people just didn’t spend thousands on this game, they might take that as a sign that people aren’t going to spend money on a game that has an infrastructure made of tooth picks. Same goes for skins. They’re extremely anti-consumer but since they’re cosmetics... you get the point. It makes me not even want to play the game anymore tbh Bc it feels like nothing will change. Whales will continue to dump money into the game. Shills will continue to call anyone who criticizes the game “complainers.” And the solo queue experiences will continue to be shit. True solos aren’t coming and no fill is fun until it isn’t.
Anyway thanks for coming to my Ted talk. Someone lmk when I can actually hear the horizons using a gravity lift 2 meters away from me.

It’s not my Internet. Every other game is fine and I have 976mb/download and 723/upload
