He is one of the easier legends to play. Octane is a flanker. Stims help him reach around corners faster or disengage. Jump pads allow for quick traversal. He is definitely a rush/flank. If you can't rely on CQC, use his jump pads to reach high areas. Stims will negate any speed hindering effect unless you stimmed before the debuff. Octane's passive is oddly helpful during certain moments. Since he harms himself each time during stim he can hurt himself and then heal in the final ring giving him an automatic win if you are hoping to let the ring decide the match. But, if you dont like how he plays you do you.
