ID: hl9cvgpTbf I'm in the habit now of hitting Ultra Med first - Rotating down Secret Stairs (Ones Facing Techlight), turning off the alarm and then hitting Kiba. Also gives you an opportunity to clear doughnut from Campers watching the door.

ID: hlap6chI do a similar thing. If I am playing solo and want to hit KIBA/ultra med/#21s then spawn dependent, I’ll head to either power or into the mall and go for goshan immediately. If the power comes on I’m in a good spot to hit the secret stair and alarm first and at least get ultra. I also like having the alarms off because if they hit power they are probably going the same places as me and I need them audio cues. If I spawn by power then I will head in through goshan. If I go this route it gives me a little extra listening time on the bottom, with good loose loot along the way, and I can hit the locker spawns which have been very very very good to me. I can pull at least 1 btc a day there on scav runs and it’s very overlooked.
The only problem with this path is if someone is sitting at ultra med/techlight. If they hear the power go on then the alarms stop, they are gonna know to expect someone coming up secret stairs and be ready. I’ve taken a few rounds of m62 because of that.

Makes it even harder to understand where footsteps and gun shots are coming from.
The instructions I followed also raised the floor which should help with foot steps. Direction shouldn’t be affected either. Capping the highest volume could affect determining shot distance I suppose. Still worth it for my sanity though.
I hope when they add VOIP, they allow you to approach some kind of microphone console they add on reserve, for you to speak directly into the alarm speakers, at the same volume

You already can't hear the siren at all if you're not near a klaxon. If anything they need to revert it to make it so you can hear it on the whole map.
