Not trying to bitch, but ever since the server updates like a week ago, has anyone noticed that it feels like shots are not registering or you are taking way to many shots to kill someone? I am absolutely shooting the fuck out of some guys and its not doing anything.

Fairly close I'll empty a mag and either have like 15 register with 300+ body damage or like 3 register. Some of them are probably my fault, but fuck the amount of time I've gotten the drop and can't seem to get any meaningful hits have been too many as of late.
ID: gptgm7dA friend just experienced this yesterday. Highest round avail for assault rifle...21 of 23 hits...600 dmg and the guy just stood there like war machine...
EDIT: still semi new players, so not sure if there as some parameter we missed for how this happens.

Wasn't the modernization supposed to be an improvement? The game's desync seems way worse now. Everyone I shoot (with a bolt-action) will take a few seconds before they actually die.

I’ve been trying to read up on some posts but has anyone had insane insane lag at the beginning of some matches? I’m at the point now where I have to run and hide until it stops and it doesn’t stop for like 5 minutes. I tried restarting everything, turning off everything in the background. It’s crazy

All sorts of weird stuff keeps happening: floating balled up scav bodies, doors opening and then being closed again then opening again, getting stuck searching loot, random stutters and instadeath. Really annoying

I've played this game for three thousand hours, I absolutely love it but this is the worst wipe for me in terms of the games stability. Early on in the wipe I'd disconnect every other raid, messed with a bunch of settings until i kinda got it working in addition to the drop off in players that happens as time goes on.
Well I'm back to square one with whatever they did to the servers, constant disconnects and packet loss every single raid now. At this point I'm just giving away gear sets because it's so bad. It's incredibly frustrating and not in a fun way.

I tried logging in while not knowing the Servers are down and now I'm locked out of my account for 2days, are you fucking serious BSG.

The desync with this shit is so bad. It happens in every game and I'm commonly waiting 3-5 seconds just to open a container half the time. Get killed commonly just running by some shit head in a corner we never see because we die then hear bullets/grenades impact after we die. Absolutely unacceptable.
How the hell did it get worse? At least before it was maybe 1/5 games that went to shit, now it's every game.
ID: gq1xpmnCame here to get this confirmation. Had the worst lag ever last night, after 3 wipes. Rubber banding, super visible desync, dead bodies moving, the works! Watching streamers and them seem to be having a fine time. But that's the streamer love.
ID: gq1ybc9To make it worse, it happens intermittently. So for a minute or two everything is fine, snappy and on point.
Then out of nowhere you get to wait 3+ seconds just to open a door, pick up an item, or dump an entire magazine to fire on someone, only for you to die because your bullets went to alternate dimension and for him you were just sitting there. As a double bonus, there's nothing like in other modern games where if the performance is bad enough it just kicks everyone out.
Instead you get to lose all your shit because of something completely outside of your control.

Does anybody know when the servers are going to be better? After the "modernization" of the server thing, the game has been laggy as hell about two days.

Off topic, but this might help people that have to reconnect (Alt+F4) a lot (server connection lost and stuff like that).
There's a little program called "SuperF4" which kills EFT instantly (Ctrl+Alt+F4),
instead of the 5-10 second wait until the game decides it's okay to be closed.ID: gqiy3waBest program ever saved me so many times from random things not just tarkov freezing

Are the flea market menus and trader menus slower than normal for everyone or is it just me? I will buy something and hit escape and it won't show up in my inventory for a few seconds. Wondering if it is something on my end now.

Anybody else getting really spiky playerRTT? Like it steadily climbs from 100 to 6000 then I get rubberbanded. Only happens some matches.

Game just crashed via the Authentication Error on extracting from a scav run. Was sitting on close to a million in loot only to lose it all. Wouldn't recommend anyone else play for a bit until things settle.

Reserve seems to be the worst map for me and these issues. Had a guy creep up and right when I go to shoot the game freezes/stutters. When the stutter is over I hear his full auto and me dead. Luckily was just a ratty scav boi

Okay people since we had the same problems with desync and lagging this is what I did. Clear cache then switch server and then switch to the server you had originally. After that log back in and I didn't have anymore problems for the whole day.

Played twice the week with a group of 4 and each session we had bodies disappearing, rubberbanding throughout the map, and the terminator desync scavs. So, ya know, servers better than ever blah blah blah

Before these "upgrades" I had like a dozen servers with pings under 70, now I have one server with pings under 100...

I have been getting insane fucking stutters when I engage in combat with players, either PMC or scav. I have tried numerous fucking fixes, different settings and nothing seems to work. I have been giving so many fucking free kills over this I'm at the point of fucking uninstalling this fucking broken game. Anyone saying 'but its beta give them time nothing is perfect bla bla bla' is fucking braindead, BSG has sold who knows how many fucking copies and they cannot even fix simple glitches, bugs, UI issues some of which have been known for maybe years at this point and I am not even talking about my big issue with stutters, freezes, fps drops. Hell, I don't even have a bad pc, It is a high end monster that can tackle even the latest and biggest games. What makes me the most annoyed is the fact that I keep fucking playing this game because I love it so much despite the fucking countless issues it has that go unchanged.
