But once I die, I still have to spend up to 10 minutes NOT playing the game. Just buying the same exact shit again.
BSG needs to optimize the out-of-raid flow. It is soo tedious to create a loadout.

As a stopgap measure just hoard guns in a case and armor in a separate case. Keep mags loaded in mag case. Takes 3 minutes max to put everything together

But yeah, W-list is life, not just for quick presets but also as a passive way to make money.
ID: ho6a2zcI use it for my hideout crafting, end of wipe this time around it ended up having like 120 items on it. Adding in 3 full kits to that list would total out to be like 250 items, and with no indents or page dividers or anything for the wishlist, it would just be 250 alphabetical items I would have to sift through, making the old way of just using presets and searching the flea manually much faster.

The fact that people are chastising you for wanting a QoL feature speaks volumes about the state of this sub.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but everything I want to buy seems to be locked. Even guns I own when I go to "find parts" half the stuff is locked. I want to try new guns and attachments but unable to buy them.

ID: ho6d5jpIf they are locked behind a quest completion, you can't buy them. There are also a lot of gun parts that are found in raid only, which are unavailable. The Geissele SMR rail, for example.

I don't get where BSG draw the line at deciding what's worth the QOL change and what is intended to cause suffering for the players. If it was easier for players to create their kits then logically they would be loading into raids faster and playing more often.
There have been many times I've just stopped playing tarkov for the day / taken a break because of how tedious the stash and loadout management is. It might be a little fun your first wipe playing on standard and trying to but both a Paca AND waterbottle into your stash but it quickly loses its charm

Yeah I agree.
It currently takes a lot more than two clicks to achieve what could be done in two clicks with full loadout presets. IDK how why people argue with that.
Also I'm honestly surprised how people defend the shitty menus. Even the QoL stuff like gun presets feel terrible to navigate.
The only excuse I can reasonably accept is that they don't give too much of a shit about the menu UI because they ultimately want to get rid of the all-in-one main menu - inventory - traders - hideout thing we have.

ID: ho60m8gI feel if they give you the option to edit preset and save custom gun load outs and being able to buy all the parts with just a click, they wouldn’t have a problem with doing the same for the rest of the gear. Doesn’t seem hard to replicate either since they can use the same system for editing guns.

How could a pre-wipe temporary event where everything costs a couple roubles illustrate us the need of a feature that will be useless once the availability of the items will be lowered more and more in the future updates?

ID: ho5ydc6Right now there is no barrier to running any kit. All items are free and unlimited. Yet, it is still a pain in the ass to get into a raid.
Either way, three weeks into a wipe you'll have steady cash flow, a full flea market, and you'll virtually be able to run whatever kit you want - again. At this point, running an identical loadout every raid is more painful than it should be.

This is the main thing that keeps my group away. We jump on for the first week or three of the wipes to test the new stuff, then just get tired of the time spent out of raid "not playing" and hop.

You guys think that shit is bad? I'm level 13.... so linked search doesn't even work for me even though traders are unlocked because they're all level 1. I spent 2 hours building a 74N to meta to realize I can't buy BS or 7n39 or whatever it is now. I'm spending more time in my inventory clearing out gun parts because I didn't know traders were going to have a rampant crack addiction the final day.

You guys don’t understand that long prep times in this game is actually a feature, the game is designed that way and Nikita was always saying that he wants you to spend more time preparing for a raid then in the raid itself. That’s the gameplay! Besides, you can add some items to favs on flea to make the process a bit faster.

Unpopular Opinion: If you are well-organized in your stash, and have gun presets saved, you don’t need it.
My defense: POV- (Looking at your stash) You have like-items already grouped together; food/rations, magazines/ammo, grenades, guns, attachments, and junk. You know how fast it is to throw one of everything on your person? Build a gun? (Because remember you have presets for guns that will automatically purchase and build for you) Buy a rig?.. A Helmet, an armor-vest, and equip it, AND jump back in raid? And you spend 10min out of raid build a load-out? You’re trollin!

I have heard this suggestion but honestly disagree with the change. The out of raid experience is unique to EFT and honestly building a kit is probably my second favorite part of the game. I don’t want a call of duty style load out concept - just one click and your character has alllll the stuff on them. I love the way the way it is currently.

Create presets. It’s way quicker than going from trader to trader to build a new gun. And buy armo
/headsets/helmets in bulk rn since they’re so cheap from the traders. That’ll speed it up significantly -
