Are scav bosses and minions really cracked this wipe? Like less than a second between non-aggro to spotting you and putting 4 rounds through your chest?
ID: hxph196ID: hxpqsd5Hm, Nikita had said that they deliberately made the Rogues superhuman to prevent easy farming. I wonder if they did the same to the bosses.
ID: hxqajm8It seems to me like scavs are more aggressive and better shots this wipe in general, and when you get one of those tanky ones with a lot of HP it can get dicey quickly.

Make loose loot meds and food immediately ready for use. No one’s trying to drop loot to put milk in the bag just to immediately use it. It’s not realistic or efficient.

This games interior lighting needs to be fixed i don’t understand the constant I can’t see them but they can see me it’s so ridiculous how dark some shadowed areas are....

Anyone got any good tips for a starter player??
ID: hxpirm4Might be echoing some other comments but:
Scav when you can - it will be a somewhat stress free way to learn the mechanics and the maps. You can also go into offline raids to get familiar with maps without having to worry about other players. You just won’t be able to earn any XP or keep any items you find. You also don’t lose anything. I suggest playing with the AI on so you can at least get familiar with their spawns and get some target practice.
Keep maps open on another screen to help you navigate and find loot locations.
Watch some guides on YouTube. Pestilly’s raid series is very good for beginners as he will show you how to complete some quests, make money, and generally explain what he is doing and why. Has helped me a lot.
Get on the official discord server and find some people that are willing to help new players with quests and just learning the game.
You will die a lot and lose a lot of stuff. The biggest thing is learning from your mistakes and making adjustments in the next raid

always remember surviving by any means gives glorious XP while death gives diddly jackID: hxnvpvj-have a map open on a 2nd monitor or somewhere that u can use to find extracts and quest locations.
-Use your scav, it's risk free money and will give you more experience with what items are vaulable and will give you more map xp. I'd recommend sticking with one map for this so you can gain as much knowledge as possible, I personally like running reserve and running through the 3 big buildings near the helicopter. You can find lots of loot routes on youtube.
-Google some cheap budget builds that you can run early game.
-Ammo is very important in this game.
-focus on looting and your quests early game, you're going to be out geared by most PMCs at this point that pvp wont be easy.
-Accept the fact that you're going to die...like a lot. My first wipe I had a 20% Survival rate, 700 hours and my Survival rate is still only 54%. Don't let it get to you, everyone in this game dies a lot.
-Look into the Sherpa program, I haven't used it personally but there are veteran players who volunteer to play with new players and shot em the ropes.
ID: hxvhuh8Scav runs are good for hideout loot. I'll often do scav runs on interchange just to loot toolboxes/ pcs since I can't buy all that stuff off the flea market yet

Any recommendations on a good automatic load out for a level 6 PMC? I've been using the SKS with PS ammo.

ID: hxqcr7ryou can craft AK 74s all day once you get level one workbench. they aren't super strong but you'll find ammo for 545 everywhere
PS is super weak, US is decent for legging and has lower recoil, and super cheap PP, BP, BT are your solid mid tier rounds

I don’t have gear gear, but I just find playing this game to be really stressful sometimes. I want to improve at pvp this wipe so I’m bringing 150-250j rouble guns and always class 4 armor and above, but after a couple deaths I just want to turn the game off and go read a book.
Any tips on lessening the stress of trying to get good?

Man, reserve marked rooms are in a sorry state. I’ve yet to see a case of any kind, a high tier gun, or a good tech spawn in RB-BK or RB-VO.

Can we add a low quality post rule to the subreddit? There's so much literal junk on the front page of the subreddit, IE jokes, one liner posts, terrible made up stories etc.

Just had my most fun voip experience. Scavved reserve with my friend, ran into 2 other friendly player scavs. We heard a bunch of gunfire in one of the buildings and went to check it out. We ran into a PMC 3 man who was scared shitless of the 4 of us because they had just finished fighting scav boss and they were all pretty messed up. They finally trusted us enough and they let us take all the loot they left behind, then we all went and extracted as a massive group of 7 at the PMC/Scav extract.

Anyone else get hit by an "Authorization Error" just now? I saw a warning that server shutdown was occurring in ~30 minutes but I'm pretty sure I extracted with plenty of time left. Now I can't seem to launch the game at all.

The game has few helmets that don't allow any headsets. Are they worth using at all? I feel like that is too huge disadvantage.

Besides labs, is Interchange really the only map where UHF RFID Readers spawn? I could craft one instead but that takes like 50 hours

i dont think i died to a player last 30 raids, maybe make AI fair not 3x better than average player?
ID: hy1jq8vAfter 1.5k hours I can 100% say that the scavs this wipe have been 100% harder to fight than any other wipe. And it doesn't help they added scavs with more health and better ammo.
