Started today. I can’t get over how beautiful the game is. I find myself stopping often and just looking around at all of the detail.

ID: hxrkq5uYa it straight up is a beautiful game no doubt about that. So many times I’ve literally say to myself “wow look at these graphics” and the underwater exploration looks insane with all the details.

Took me 11 hours just to leave the beginning are, the Duant. It says I'm 6.25 % done with the game. I'm stoked. It's really good.

No doubt, Its one hell of a game.
Animations/Voice Acting: I have never seen or heard anything close to this before.And i am a 40+ year old gamer. I have played many games on PC but this is the first time i have been REALLY impressed. The eyes can be "yanky" yes but everything else is almost spot on (imo) Graphics: I went from playing in 4k on a LED 43 inch but bought a C1 (55) recently and first time you get control of your character, Oh my god. Just wow.So the best graphics i have ever seen in my life (check) Story so far is good and i am really involved.This to me is a pure 10/10 AAA game made by a AAA studio.
If they doing scifi after this and doing a Killzone game, Just saying.
In this quality? Oh... my god.ID: hxrd9wbIt's phenomenal for sure, one of the most engaging games I've played in long time, easily the most engaging open world title I've ever played.
The story is great so far, I'm at the part where you have to find the three things across the world, and I'm digging where they're taking it, so much more interesting than the original!

ID: hxrhqntFor PS5. The type of people who regularly buy FIFA probably aren't the same type of gaming enthusiast who are jumping to buy a next gen console. PS4/XB1 will still work fine for them.

ID: hxrknq5GT7 potentially, it's a colossal franchise for Sony, there hasn't been a full blown GT game since PS3.
ID: hxrl3v9Very true, but I think some might be cautious after the buggy GT Sport launch. Read a couple of threads saying the pre-launch hype and reviews should have hit by now, hinting it might be flawed. I hope not, I pre ordered!

Haven't started yet, probably tonight. Sometimes I get overwhelmed when getting ready to start a new rpg because it's such a commitment and I just got out of Ghost of Tsushina after 100+ hrs.
Is HZD2 slow in the beginning?? Or is it fast paced?
ID: hxrkwbuThere's a LOT to do....I'm 16 hours in and maybe only done 3 or 4 main story quests? I keep getting side tracked by side quests and other stuff. I'd say it's as fast or slow as you want it. The side quests are just as well written as the main story.
ID: hxrlmfzIt's very moderate. The first few hours are slow but after that it's pretty consistent. I like to wander off and try and upgrade pouches first so I'm having a lot of fun doing that.

I'm still kind of shocked how popular Spiderman seems to be. Comic book shit is just ridiculous nowadays. Annoyingly so.
ID: hxrjp96Spider-Man damn near transcends comic books and the super hero genre. For many people, Spider-Man is where the rest of Marvel is a footnote upon. That's certainly the case for me growing up.
Because I really feel you. I'm not really a fan of the MCU. But I'll always be a SM fan and Miles Morales was amazing.
ID: hxrmrjaIf your game attracts to people of all ages, young childrens and adults then it will do really well in sales. Also is the game accessible? For example RPG is harder for casuals to get into then action adventure.
Spider-Man is Sony’s Mario Kart and GTA V. Both of them are very accessible and attracts people of all ages. I am aware GTA V is M rated.

Hope they iron out the bugs. Have not been able to play the PS5 version at all. Literally cannot make it past the loading screen without crashing, but for some reason the PS4 version works fine.
Edit: I'm really gonna get downvoted because people don't want to believe the game has bugs, huh? I just wanted to enjoy the game at release like the rest of you 🙁

ID: hxrnbmwI've seen some other reports on reddit of the exact same issue. I've tried everything including reinstalling, factory resetting the PS5, etc. I'm not ruling out a possible hardware issue, but I don't have problems with any other games. Including the PS4 HFW.

The game graphically is beautiful. But everything else is super overrated.
I can’t enjoy it because of a boring protagonist.

ID: hxrgcasOn OLED screens it looks really bad man, even John Linneman (one of the digital foundry guys) is saying on twitter that performance mode looks poor and that it won’t be an easy fix. I hope you’re right that it will be patched soon though

68% on the PS5???!!!! Which means Sony screwed 10.- out of each of the 68% of Horizon’s playerbase! Shameful business practice for an otherwise great game!
ID: hxrie5vI and many others bought the collectors/special editions which probably count as a PS5 purchases and many people just didnt care ot want the PS5 case. The box for PS4 also clearly states there's an upgrade.

Boxed sales in UK is not a good measure of how many will play on PS4 and it will likely add many millions of more sales

I played for 6 hours Friday night and then looked at the map and literally went no where. Currently excited to go home tomorrow and play the whole holiday.
