I do this a lot, here are some tips if they don't shoot scavs on sight, which is unlikely.
If they aim at you turn towards them and spam lean like a robot for a couple seconds while reloading then nonchalantly go back to whatever you were doing like running to the end of the hall.
Make sure to stop in place and reload and mutter from time to time.
Make sure to have the thumb up key bound because to tell if a scav is real or fake, you can ask it to follow you, no matter what response excluding silence, it is 100% a real AI. So if someone walks up to you and asks to follow make sure to hit your thumbs up key. - Only for PMCs dressed as scavs.
AI scavs never strafe unless they spot an enemy.

What I like to do if another player scav is nervous about you is to pretend to spot an enemy.
I couldn't tell you how many times I've sprinted towards a corner then scav yelled and shot the wall a few times and crouched behind a box while pretending to trade shots.
90% of the time the player comes to "see" what you are doing. When they peak ads on their face as they slowly turn towards you and show them true terror.
