I propose a reverse of all economic balancing changes made to reign in bitcoin, and leave it be for the entire rest of the wipe. lets see how this goes. A ton of people already have bitcoin farms, none of these changes seriously effect them. lets let them rake in a metric fuck ton of rubles for the rest of the wipe, and actually do something about bitcoin NEXT wipe. Maybe changing it to a static value, like GP coins?
Reverse the tetriz limits. make the solar panels the price it was at the beginning of the wipe.
lets use this as an experiment to see how much a majorly inflated economy affects gameplay.

but no changes actually hurt those with 50/50 and a full hideout and 50+m of roubles, they only hurt those starting out

I don't know if I agree with this idea, but I think that making changes like BSG is doing in the middle of a wipe is stupid. Making MAJOR requirements changes like that should be done at the beginning of a wipe, if anything.

Nah, mid-wipe changes are fine and I doubt they are going away, this is a tale as old as time with Tarkov. Newbies whine that they get screwed over by mid-wipe changes and try to use it as excuse for why chads are pushing their shit in.
In truth the chads will always be pushing the bads shit in.
Beyond that bitching that there are changes in a game that is in early access is...beyond stupid. There are literally warnings in the game itself that changes will happen as development rolls on and that is something you accept when playing the early access version.
Yet somehow people still clutch their pearls every time BSG make big changes.

Stop whinging on Reddit and start getting better at the game. Maybe try using a gun that fires bullets, instead of stuffing tetris and GPU's in your ass and dying to the Players who do run guns. The tetris nerf has worked very well at demotivating the hatchies, now there is actually loot left on the map after 3mins.

My thought would be have graphics cards start to go bad after a period of time and other “maintenance” to your hideout. The initial grind to get your hideout going makes you scavenge for materials, which is a lot of the fun. Shoreline village is a ghost town. Items used to fix your hideout must be FIR to element just buying them.

the change to the trader stock was actually a good one, Its unlikely you’ll be able to get a bitcoin from the barter so they are worthless on the market, makes hatchet running less viable but still doesnt fuck quest rewards or bitcoin farm

how about we just reduce the spawn rate of tetriz and stop screwing over the average player who doesn't want to camp a 2 hour reset vs bots, oh and the timer is off by around a minute so you don't really have any idea when it is going to reset

If they want to keep the bitcoin pricing thing, which is kinda cool, they should scale it on a bell curve pegged to some price.
Eg at the start of the wipe peg bitcoin to a trailing six month average price. If btc is currently moving close to this price, in game prices move 1:1. As the price of btc gets further from the peg price, reduce the rate of change of in game btc price relative to real price. This way we even out btc value a bit without constantly rebalancing or massively inflating everything.

If they insist on matching real world prices, why not use the real world price as the max and simply reduce the price the more players sell buttcoins? That would allow them to make shite changes that players hate and appease the community at the same time?

I like the idea of passive income but bitcoin farm is just so unbalanced, especially with the bitcoin prices right. This wipe was the first time I got bitcoin farm and it literally changed the way I played, just because I knew I would have some money coming in regardless if I died.
They just need to nerf bitcoin by A LOT, like 300k max, and keep them at the same goddamn price.

The economy is already inflated as fuck, almost every match has 1 or 2 giga chad killas with meta vektor and 7n31.

Most players and especially veterans who've been playing since Day 1 don't waste their time on this sub.
This sub is mostly filled with horrible ideas from casuals... Who think the game is hard... LOL.
It's just full of rats who want the game to be changed to cater to their individual shitter rat lifestyle.
Every so often there's a decent idea (but was thought of 100x before) and it's ignored/downvoted by all the rats.
The rats out number the actual good players who understand the game itself and BSG's intention with it.
Veteran take? Remove flea market. Remove FiR. 100% restrictions to secure containers. Balance entire game based on solo economy via HIDEOUT. Rework entire trader system. Maybe everyone has their own trader stock. If they do introduce dynamic events that affect Traders, all players Traders have same effect, etc.
Imagine a hideout with way more crafts. Crafts that make sense. Also cutting the time on most crafts. Being able to craft more than a few things without the elite skill... You could be self sufficient. Imagine traders being completely reworked with way more barter trades that also make sense.
I could go on and on... Anyways. This experiment doesn't need to be done because you're just asking for it to be like it was already. So that DATA already exists. We lived it. Now they are either blind or testing another way.
I do agree though that these sort of things need to happen more and with more aspects of the game. I'd like to see the 'flea market' removed for a wipe that way all the new players see what the game was like before it existed. (way better with actual sense of progression and takes longer to be chad geared... No more crying 1-2 weeks into the wipe... For another wipe....)

I was 20 mil first week of wipe didnt need to farm interchange all i did was learn how shit new woods was and got a few red rebels and violet keycards farming sturman using a pistol to kill sniper scav for their loadout

Yep, I think once BTC price gets high enough in real life, BSG will nerf the shit out of it. Either dropping a BTC value to 0.1 or 0.05, and making spawn rates rare as hell.

It's been broken imo this wipe, they need to change it, not sure how, many make it so you can't sell bitcoin but you can barter for some nice gear, ot sure but the current way is not fun imo

I'm glad i rushed my hideout at the start of the wipe, prices for everything are absolutely ridiculous now. I know that it's been said before but it really seems like the best way to fix this is to decouple BTC price from IRL prices.

I kind of like the variability of BTC. I would like to see restrictions on ammo more so than nerfing BTC. I feel like people should only really be able to top load that M995 level ammo. I really don't think you should be able to bring 3x60 round drums of M995 to every single raid, and not because of price, but because of availability.
