There is currently no known fix for server disconnects, if you are experiencing this issue please send a bug report to BSG via the launcher.

This feels like one of those therapy circles where we go around a d tell everyone how we feel, but nothing really comes of it in terms of real progress lmao. I mean, servers have only been a major issue for, like, literally the entire life of this game

I've got close to 1500 hours in this game and have never experienced desync so bad it made me actually go "what the actual fuck?" until last night.
Was playing quads on customs. Went to toss a nade over a wall towards Depot. On my screen it goes straight into the air because why not, then goes straight down to the ground and I go "BAD NADE" or something. Everyone else goes WTF because on their screens it arced over the wall just fine. Hear it explode shortly over it.
Then we go to extract at ZB-013. One of my teammates gets murdered by a vector through a wall. Meanwhile, I'm extracting. Another team mate runs in and crouches next to me. Last guy who is on his way to extract goes "Are you coming down the steps?" guy next to me goes "no." Friend fires like 5 times and the guy next to me dies. On his screen, and my screen he was standing right next to me extracting and on the other guys screen he's coming down the fuckin' steps in fortress.
Switched to Hunt for the rest of the evening after that one. woof.

ID: gvdgaegIt’s fun. It has a little of the tarkov feel but definitely not the same tension IMO. Good if you’re in the mood for a fast TTK shooter with the go in, get thing, escape loop.

For me It started 2 days ago after the update and now its at the point I have tried everything to fix it (uninstall,change servers,restart router etc.) and what happens is I load into a raid either on my pmc or scav and its fine for about 5 minutes and then I get randomly disconnected from the game. The first time this happens I can join back and things are okay for about another 5 minutes and then it disconnects me again and at this point every time I reconnect from here on I get a white line at the bottom of my screen and my character can't seem to move from his place and then 10 seconds later I am disconnected and this continues until my character is killed or the raid ends.
plz fix Nakita I'm trying to grind some eft lol
Edit: I uninstalled and reinstalled for the second time and for some reason it stopped disconnecting so as of right now this is the only solution and I’m not sure if it works for everyone but I saw someone else post about this working as well so it’s worth a shot.

This game will die, servers will never get fixed. BSG too cheap and amateur to resolve it.
You may downvote this but its the cold hard truth.

I've been plagued with disconnects for much of this year. I scav a lot (1500 this wipe and counting!) and would get a server disconnect a dozen times a day easily.
A week ago I removed the Killer network card application as I saw on another thread that it could cause issues - I haven't had a single server disconnect since. Hope this helps someone - it was driving me nuts.

Mixing together server sync issues (desync) and disconnect is not a good idea. As the issues are a completely different thing. The easier thing to solve are the disconnects.
But will something happen with the desync issues? I am sure someone is working on it, but i'm not sure anything significant will happen until the server has the rule over the client. The game should somewhat punish players that are in desync (rollback their position or make them stay in lag) and not other way around.
Hit counts from player that is in desync should not be accounted for and player in sync should know that the other player is in desync as also the player in desync should know.
Now the experience on the client looks smooth but player will get quickly mad once the other player is hit 10 times in the head and nothing happens.
If this was implemented players would be forced to stay in low-ping region and lag hacks would cease to exist.
What about the players with shitty internet? I'm sure there will be someone with limited access to BSG servers, but that's life. Having a bad game experience for everyone is not a way to go.

I'm a pretty new player (lvl 4 with 17 raids) and i keep getting shit like this...
After-match stats said that I fired 7 shots and landed 0. Should I expect this from the game from now on?

This is completely unacceptable. I DC at least once a raid, if not more than once. And I am only doing scav runs thankfully. I would be livid if I was doing a PMC run and died due to a DC.

Is anyone having issues with the LFG match-making? I get invited to a group, load into the game, and boom I have 200+ ping and am autokicked. Never happens when I play solo or with friends.
ID: gvahe41The lobby is not a region lobby, when you get invited by randoms you dont know it can be anywhere on the world where the captain of the group is playing.

Imagine their is alot of players like myself that cant even play the game because it keeps kicking them from the server every time they join a game...crazy thing they wont even fix the problem been a issue for me for the last 2 years all they can say is change your isp...the funny thing eft is the only game that gives me connection issues

Desync its related to all this shit updates your guys delivery and always make the game worst, i'm sorry but since the last 3 patchs i lose like 40 frames, how this can be ok? before i was playing with 75/80 stable, now im down to 40 frames in customs when the raid start and all scavs spawn.
So i need to deal with desync dying behind cover all the time and also play with such low framerate, i just quit it... may one day it will get better but who knows.

i bought the game yesterday and i still can't finish a whole raid... the game freezes then it closes, i've tried turning off antivirus, reinstalling the game, checking integrity, clearing cache, moving from SSD to HDD and from HDD to SSD and i still can't finish a raid... i'm regretting buying this game.

I've encountered a weird bug where you get kicked out of a game, and the menu notification says something like "You've tried to leave the game by disconnecting". This is a weird thing for the notification to say, because the reason you're discinnected is that BSG's servers are pure ass gravy, and they haven't fixed their shitty ipv4 dependent architecture despite this being a known issue for 5+ years.
So an easy fix would be to change the notification to say something that has a closer relationship to reality, something like "You've been disconnected because our servers and net code are loose stool water of the worst kind. Your character is still in raid and since you've already paid us we don't give two shits about even trying to fix the multiple and severe issues with this game."

Is this why I’ve killed two running in place players over the last couple of days? One was a PMC and one was a player Scav, but I thought it was weird that that would happen twice so close to each other

Sometimes my ping jumps up to 2-3k and i get kicked due to bad connetion, while my internet works fine. It happens sometimes every raid, sometimes 2 or 3 times per raid, sometimes i can play several times without issues

Had 5 disconnects out of 6 scav runs today. Why put my in a loading screen for 14 minutes only to kick me for 180ping? Useless

I'm playing on NY server and its god awful. Stutters and desync every single raid.

Getting 170-180ms ping to Tarkov servers in OCE, generally I get 25-30ms. Ran a speed test in case it's an issue from my service provider, got 14ms ping.

Set DNS to my ISP and it was OK for a couple of days.
But now @ 21:35 Monday 170+ pings as a PMC on Interchange.
Changed to Shoreline as a Scav @ 21:50 no issue.
Need another server in Oz.

My buddy chad also had a lot of problems with disconnects during a raid or even disconnects while loading into one. Strange behavior was that in moments he had the DC I still could see him moving around, but for him I was walking while standing and in his inventory he could not move items around. After 10-20 seconds his game then disconnected.
We are from Germany and he gets internet via cable. We saw in one deep nested thread in one forum the possible root cause. Thing is that cable Internet usually uses ipv6 and maps multiple ipv6 access points to one ipv4 address, called DS Lite. Tarkov somehow seems to have problems with that.
Indeed! By requesting disabling DS Lite at his provider the problem was fixed! No disconnects anymore and we even have the feeling that his gaming experience feels 'smoother'. But latter could be also very subjective.
In case you do make similar experience, check in your router connection if DS Lite is enabled. If so, get in touch with your provider.
Unfortunately at my friend's provider the change added 3,99€ to his monthly costs for his Internet. And tarkov is the only game making this trouble. Hopefully this problem at some point get's some attention by BSG so that it gets fixed and my friend can go back to his original Internet contract.

This entire patch I've found that (usually) Elite AI, particularly Reserve scav boss and Killa, I will hear 1 single shot and die, get out of raid and it says 2 shots to the thorax. I will hear 2 shots and it will say (4), Once it was 3 shots and it was (6) according to the after raid healing. I used to expect good ammo when I instantly die with class 5 armor, but now I fully expect to see T-45M as it usually is. Scav boss encounters are extremely difficult not because of an intended reason.

Third day in a row OCE servers, 170-180ms ping after entering raid. Server select says 23ms, speed test gives me 20ms.

Desync is literally the bane of this wipe. The amount of times I've been killed through a wall because the guy was already in front of the door on his screen but not mine.
BSG, the game has been out in testing for now 4-5years, and the server are still awful. THAT should be your main effort. Tweaking the economy, adding loot to tables is meaningless if we can't interact with it due to desync.
THE BASE of the game has to be solid, then you build up.

My friends and I are constantly getting sent back to the main lobby after we start searching for a match. Anyone else having this issue and possible ways to avoid it? It just happened to us 8 times in a row right now. This issue’s been going on for several weeks now and it seems to only be getting worse.

I play with two others, both have decent PCs one gets constant disconnects while the other gets none using the same internet connection, was almost every raid last night.
ID: guvgoc5I have a pc that I built in 2019 for ~7k (threadripper, nvme SSDs out the ass, 32gb ram, a fucking titan RTX) and I still get issues. This is not a PC specs issue and if it is, it’s an unreasonable one.
