I ran into a boss (Killa) for the first time! I was doing Interchange as usual because it was easy for me to learn the exits on this squarish map. I recently googled “where is good loot Interchange” and found a video about the General store. I was down to my last weapon, the 20 gauge shotgun, and made it there. I saw a enemy player outside and peeked and shot. I repeated two more times. Then I got rekt.
The post-game report said Killa killed me and I did 75 damage but only 3 damage made it past the armor.
So I Googled how to kill Killa, spent the last of my money on a Mosin nagant, and died before ever seeing him again

Game seems kinda dead? Finding a lot of empty lobbies.
ID: h00l32aWhich region? I play mostly US East and while the pre game lobby list isn't as full as it is right after a wipe, it's not empty. Customs, labs, reserve always have people.
ID: h00my6qUS East as well and yea I mean some of the less popular maps and often at night time lobby is totally empty
ID: h02v0lgI'm US east and even Woods almost always has at least one other player, and often more. Late night + nighttime raid you can sometimes find an empty lobby.

Hey I’m new, when you’re shooting at people and they make an “ueheeeeeh” or some other long noise does that mean they died? Or just that i shot them?

What's the minimum I need to bring to a raid to avoid tagged & cursed please?
ID: h03fprfTo not be considered tagged you need to have one of the following:
A weapon slot filled with a useable weapon A backpack A helmet with an armor value (things like glasses/pompom/etc don't count but shattered face mask does) A rig or plate carrierHaving at least of of these things means you're good to go.
ID: h03u82bDidn't they remove the tag+curse mechanic? I remember some people saying it was nerfed because people were using it to cheese armies of scavs with a partner.

Can AI scavs use mounted guns like DSHK? Had a mind boggling thing happen where a scav almost killed me with one.

Almost can't believe it, just finished Tarkov shooter part 8 with a VPO-215 + a cobra sight at 00:00 EU servers, did over 1k dmg to 3 players.

I am having a ton of issues finding the plane crash in Woods for the Jaeger quest. What's the easiest way of finding it?
ID: gzy65updepends on which side you spawn but the plane is really easy to find, just follow broken trees. If you have the plane then it's 45 degrees to the left and you have the cabin

ID: h02acz3It can be so hard finding anything in woods when you are new, but look at a map like
Find out where you spawned, and try to go in the correct direction. It's all about learning the map a bit more, so do scav runs there to learn for free.

ID: h02a6cmShoreline needs more extracts for sure, tunnel is pretty populated - late in the raid you often meet people there, camping or not it's death.

Anyone else finding this game pretty stale at the minute? I try to motivate myself to go into raids but its just boring with the empty servers. Game is in serious need of a wipe to refresh the player-base in my opinion. What does everyone else think?
ID: h06qwkpYeah i took a week off while building my new PC, came back and... Damn, customs is quiet! To keep it fresh we've been doing mostly meme runs / protect-the-president runs where one person has only pistol/rig and sort of pretend to be a scav boss

I've really never had a problem with the 'beta-ness' of this game until just now. Trying to complete the guide, first time ever in labs. Spawn next to warehouse. Scared shitless, hiding for the 7 minutes till I can make a mad dash down to medical elevator.
Someone opens up warehouse, and for some reason all the raiders come straight at me. Kill 4 of them, more are coming...and I get stuck on a fucking barrel and can't move. FML. A really fun stressful moment ruined by bullshit.

Is factory broken at the moment? The clock is stuck, I'm not sure if this is always the case but I just noticed it, and then every time I try to queue as a scav or PMC I always get booted back to the home screen.
ID: gzxxiq2Factory is timelocked so nothing wrong there. Does it happen when you get passed the “loading map” stage?
I had this happen on shoreline a bunch, in the end I had to go to my launcher and switch from auto to a different server and that fixed it. I’d say give that a try, maybe the server just doesn’t like you.

ID: gzxxg9rClock is always stuck. Its either day or night. As for getting kicked. That's weird and probably server related.

When producing water, the filter spends at the same frequency as if the generator is turned on if it is turned off?

Had a very nice loot and quest run on Shoreline ruined by Sanitar and my ability to be easily distracted. Killed the boss man, fought the guards for a bit (ended with 1400 damage to body!!), but got MIA maybe 30m from the exfil because I lost track of time fighting them.

Thoughts on being able to right click your character's slots and doing a linked search? As in, being able to right click your armor slot and see all the compatible gear. Perhaps too much programming work but would be kinda cool

ID: gzz623lHonestly dont care about the wipe. I just want the games problems lessened at least. Whats the point of wiping if we still have bad dsync, and really bad hit registration issues? Unless they actually implement the beta part of the game at this point its worthless
Edit: And no im not saying I think thats a bad idea, to wipe. Just dont see the point.
ID: gzzjhtfGame is pretty playable for me just not fun if you're level 14 at the end of wipe. Only thing I can do is try to earn money and spend it on gear. Not gonna bother doing quests and hideout if everything resets in 2 weeks anyway

Anyone else finding that guns with bolt releases aren't being bolt releases anymore? I for one am completely fine with this change, but I'm confused why PMCs now are completely unaware of the bolt release's presence, from M4 to MDR to UMP, to the Vector down to the MP7, my PMC is pulling on handles instead of pressing releases, anyone else?
