If I zero for 50m even and shoot something at 25m. The shot will land high because I’m technically shooting something 25m behind my intended target. If you were to line up to very thin paper targets 25m apart and shoot for a headshot they would land vertically in very separate places. It’s why you should point fire in very close quarters.
