-
Finally! Steam also has new pictures on the game page.

Cmon switch. Get these
ID: hia59juID: hiad2ttits just a case of wait and see. Been around a decade since FFV was available on console/dedicated handheld so waiting a few more months shouldn't be too long.
could very much be part of next years anniversary. I've heard good things about the current releases so it should definitely be worth the wait.
ID: hib6qdlProbably sometime next year.

This is probably the one that interests me most really. I played 1&2 Dawn of Souls version and 3 3D version a couple of years ago, and don't have that much of a desire to revisit them any time soon. Solid enough games, but mostly generic stories/characters, and they don't really do anything gameplay wise that later games don't do better. I was going to pick up 4 since I enjoyed it on the GBA years ago, but I ended up digging out my old PSP and I'm currently playing that version, since I prefer those graphics to the Pixel Remaster.
5 and 6 deserve better than the mobile ports from a few years ago, and hopefully this will be the remasters they deserve. 6 is obviously a fantastic game, although it was also incredibly well designed and I hope that the new style can do it justice without losing the charm of the original. 5 I could never really get into back in the day though, playing the PS1 port. A lot of people rave about it though, and maybe I just didn't understand the systems well enough as a kid, so definitely going to give this one a shot with the Pixel Remaster.
ID: hia695fBeen having the same thoughts, 5 and 6 needed this treatment more than any of the others, very excited to play them again

Pretty great, V was one of my favorites when I played it on PlayStation on Final Fantasy Anthology collection. Gilgamesh was amazing, Big Bridge theme is amazing, job system was really good and really fun. I remember the last boss being pretty difficult. Excited to play this again with the update music and qol changes that come in these remasters.
ID: hia3sx9I can't wait to hear the remastered version of Battle on the Bridge.
-
Damn I just started this on SNES Classic too lol.. oh well..
-
Well looks like I have to platinum trophy IX before November 10th, wasn't expecting it to release this early in November!
ID: hiaohkmGood luck with the 1000 jump ropes. Took me way to long to get 100.
-
Ok... but what about 6? Christmas day right?
What's going to be the "pink tails" achievement on this game?
-
Haha i just started a new playthrough last night on my Playstation
-
Why isn't there a 20% discount for mobile? Or is there?
-
“Up to the JOB”
I love it

Finally!
I've been checking steam every day!
Loved ff3 really disappointed it only took me 20 hours to beat.
-
Do we know if they're using the PS1 or the GBA translation?
ID: hibc331No chance in hell they’re using the PS1 translation. Will likely be the GBA version with maybe a few tweaks, or it will be a straight rip of the GBA version.
-
Surprised they are releasing this so soon to Endwalker, but I could probably belt it out within 9 days maybe. Since 4 came out in September around the same time, I wonder if we'll see 6 in January?
-
Is it just my imagination or does It feel like there is an ff1-6 remaste
-release of some sort every 3-4 years 0.oID: hiayce3iirc since 2010 we had FF1 and 2 come to mobile (based on psp ones) then FF3 come to mobile and later psp then steam (based on the ds one) we had FF4 come to mobile then steam (based on ds one) followed by the mobile re releases of 5 and 6 which later came to steam (though the games were received the best due to the visual style)
this year weve had these remasters and iirc the previous mobile versions of 1 and 2 along with the mobile/steam versions of 5 and 6 were removed from the store... though FFIII and IV were renamed "3d version" or something.
again its a lot of iirc, anyone feel free to correct me if wrong also this is only covering the last 10 or so years, since during the 2000s we had gba versions of 1,2,4,5,6 and ds versions of 3.
i do like that the pixel remasters mean we have the first 6 in a consistent style now

A literal day before Shin Megami Tensei V. Dammit Square!
-
Ooooo boy!! My Google card is ready hihihihihj
-
Jeez, what a busy month that's gonna be:
11/5: Animal Crossing New Horizons 2.0 update.
11/10: FFV Pixel Remaater.
11/11: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, Skyrim: Extended Cut "special video event".
11/12: Shang-Chi release date (on Disney+).
And that's just what I know of off the top of my head.
-
Come to the Switch and I'll be interested
-
Please be GBA script.
-
Just finished 1 and 2 pixels, they're pretty fun!
Only thing is I wish they had the speedup, ability to disable random battles and "god" modes like the 7-12 remakes on switch.
Especially with 2 the amount of random battles and trap rooms got pretty tedious by the end.

Exactly, I'd love to play those but I'm no PC nor Mobile (Phone) gamer. I still wonder what made SE think "Yeah, let's not put those games on consoles"
