ID: hrvkcw5ID: hrv8q5lThis was Tanket in the monster arena, for certain stronger enemies the game doesn’t want you to beat them easily so it finds ways to kill off your aeons so you have to beat them with your normal party.
The result is what you see above, it doesn’t matter if my Anima had 99,999hp and max defense, it would have just kept attacking me until I died. Some other monster arena creations will heal 99,999hp per turn. Dumb shit like that. It makes you feel like you were cheated.

Tbf if just 1 party member is alive, it will do the same until the last person standing is dead. Just unfortunate that aeons count as one... Yuna is right there damnit!

It's not a "You have an aeon, die hurr" attack. That would be Banish by Seymour.
Rush attack is a delay attack and you only have one character.

Nah, Tanket has a special ability that when only one ally is alive, he will attack infinitely. So since a Aeon is one ally, he will attack unlimited turns. This procs even against party members, so it isn't anti-aeon hacks.
He's way easier with a party of three. You can even use magus sisters to avoid his ability if you are doing aeon only.
You can't rely on Anima to carry you thru every battle, I guess.ID: hrw7gqeIt's not that it will attack infinitely if it's only one party member. It's that it's attack has the ability to delay the attack of whoever the attack target is, and if its just one party member left or an Aeon, the party member will always have their turn delayed until Tanket misses, which is unlikely unless the party member has maxed evasion and high luck.

They had fun with it like when Tonberry King (?) makes a voodoo doll of your aeon and stabs it.

It's rush attack is like quick hit and it delays your turns that's why it's extremely effective against aeons and not as effective when going against 3 party members

I truly love this game, even all its annoyingly grind and find moments. Treasure of a game.

I cant recall the exact way but tanket can break you game. Like it will attack for the rest of eternity and you won't get a game over because the aeon is not dying. And the only way to stop it is to pull the plug and whatever progress.

ID: hrz6k1hIt's the enemy version of quick hit which will delay the opponents turn. Quick hit is the best in the game and should be used on all super bosses

ID: hrxypmlThey’re really useful. As meat shields yes, but anima and magus sisters are useful in particular. Anima Overdrive can do 1.6million damage

ID: hrwsfojI actually like FFX post game. It’s just a LOT of grinding. But it does feel rewarding for the most part.
The absolute worst part is getting Wakka’s and Lulu’s celestial weapons. The other ones are nothing in comparison.
